Do you guys have any recommend orthodontic around PJ/KL/Puchong area??

I found a clinic called Blanc Dental Clinic @ Bangsar...review from google & FB seem not bad...any of you visit/consult before??

Fee bit high, for metal one cost around 9k as per the nurse when i called there...is it really that expensive if do by orthodontic? somemore i thinking to have the ceramic one... hmm.gif

Hi warmrice,

Getting braces at 30 is not old at all, I've seen people even at age 50 who get braces although very rare.

For braces you need to do your due diligence and research on what kinds you want and which dentist you want to get it at, for this I would advise you to go for consultations with a couple of dentists before going ahead with it. What's comfortable for you others might not be for you too.

As per the charges, orthodontists charges will almost always be higher than a general dentist practicing braces. Hence my advise on going to a couple of dental clinics, as your case might not need a specialist orthodontist and can be done by a general dentist and you can save a little money there.

Just my suggestions.

Have a good day smile.gif

There is no max age to get braces. The only downside of doing it late is; your bones and jaw have probably stop growing/changing and hardened. Therefore, braces takes longer time to achieve the same results compared to a kid whose jaw bones and teeth are still soft.

Besides that, everything should be more or less fair thereon, you wear retainers for the rest of your life(should you want to maintain the effects of your investment).

I just have braces off Last few weeks . It took me 4 years to make it straight. it wasnt Perfect. But it wayyyyy better than before.

I had severe crowded teeth. And wear it at ge 32. Its never been too late TO wear braces.

I did in kajang. But if u in KL area.. My friend did at 1 clinic at Taman desa . Forgot the name. That clinic was our panel comp.

She did for metal about rm 4k. 6 years ago.. Try to ask.

This is my teeth look 4 years ago.. And on braces about 1 month or three month at the bottom pic

What type of braces? How’s the skill of the dentist ? Or is he an orthodontist?

I’m having crowded teeth and misalign of my upper and lower jaw. Not sure is this procedure complicated.

Simple, it depending on condition of your retainer. If still ok, no crack etc no need replacement.
But usually clear/essix retainer last for 1-2 years, wonder yours can last up to 4 years. Daily usage?
