Simple, it depending on condition of your retainer. If still ok, no crack etc no need replacement.But usually clear/essix retainer last for 1-2 years, wonder yours can last up to 4 years. Daily usage?

The cheaper i found for essix is rm400 (thickness around 2-3mm)Hawley = rm500
