In a dilima nao. Huat is da purpose of having huge throttle body, whilst IAFM keep on limiting its intake volume & injector is acting like a biatch? Yesterday found a 60mm mouth, believe its 1 of the largest compatible unit for Kampro throttle.

On the otherhand, another person offer a full set of intake(alloy manifold & 1.6 electrocnic throttle). This will remove the horrible throttle lag of IAFM, but torque dip on 2.5krpm is inevitable.

Both shd end up paying about 600 to get the job done. Should I?

A) get the 60mm, reserve a possibility of future up size to 1.6 + Halltech

B) enjoy the immediate response but suffer in town driving

C) stay stock. Save enough then buy VIOS

It's not IAFM. It's normal kampro without air fuel module control. Due to engine oversized, momentum not easy to build up as natural aspiration, within 2.5~3.5k rpm will suffer torque dip. The throttle size is slightly larger than 1.3lit. If not mistaken v12kompressor is currently benefiting from 1.6 TB and he has the comparison photo of 1.3 vs 1.6 throttlebody side by side. The outter diameter of the throttlebody is exactly the same, but the butterfly valve of the 1.6 and inner diameter is larger.

Met a FL brother I think same color as yours few months ago at mamaks. Ady saw him parking and tumpang table with me. Lite brownish granite grey color. The abang really got heart playing with his car, some sharing from him may be can benefit you. Things he shared as below:

1) Grounding on transmission. According to him change gear become very efficient with minimum shiftshock.
2) Soak throttlebody with high density electric oil(dunno what oil is that), so the throttle response improve
3) Grounding spider inside cabin, include TCU and ECU. Didn't know the effect, butt dyno show many improvement.
4) Ekzos tip 3 inches
5) Due to standard trim doesn't have door side lining, added a white stripe across the lower section make the car look extremely sporty
6) Seat cover all use blue trim TYPE-R (totally disagree with this 1 as the color scheme looks like pasar malam) but surprisingly very comfortable and cooling due to the padded seat cover! Wouldn't mind if those seat cover is in black without the bloody TYPE-R wording ono it.
7) Self modified TYPE-R shift knob after the stock release button has broken. Don't know how he did it, but that's the 1st time I've seen a GaGa auto with after market shift stick.
8) Plotong Shawie handbrake handle with metal hairline brushed wrapped
9) Stock steering with PCV wrapped on red stitch. Like dares got a red tie at the 12 O'clock position.
10) 2nd hand GaGa rear speaker plonk at the front door
11) Tweeter kedai abang for RM10/pair x 2, double tapped on A-Pillar and C-Pillar
12) Voltage stabilizer for head unit
13) Huge LEGALIS R sticker on the torsion beam Despite it sounded lala, but it looks good have some wording at the plain tofubim

Nobody answer my dilima, all ask questions like they're gonna upgrade 1.6 TB So I guess getting a 1.6 TB is the way to go? But what am I going to do with the manifold leh Besides, if only buy the TB, brand new for 1.6 also around 600 only wor. Might as well buy a new 1?
