Well, maybe the Dalong guy decided to take a break from gundam and focus on other models, esp his SRW kits. As for his neglect for SEED kits, I don't really mind, as long as he continues his picture reviews for the MG line... Not really into SEED kits anyway... Their designs are really getting weirder and weirder.

Stargazer looks fine, but not really eye-catching. The lack of weapons is disturbing, although they have included the beam rings which look really cheesy... Note that it cannot make full rotations around the SG as the doughnut ring blocks most of its path.

Bling bling stickers... at least they provide us with the option of choosing either one, rather than repaint the whole thing. Not that I like the bling effect anyway....

Now in dilemma whether to get F91 or hang on and wait for a possible release of V2.... sigh.... guess i wil wait on...

in addition, if this is really the special edition stand, then i will be laughing all the way.... it's just a simple legend type stand with wires supporting the dragoons !! LOL...

Hazel beam rifle comes with Sept issue... However, the Hazel rifle is really puny as it's a MSiA sized replica. It's intricately built with little colored areas for the buttons, cameras, and also the e-pacs; however it's puny size deters me from posing it with my 1/100s ... And it's too big for my gashapon Hizack

About the freebies... Sometimes it's kinda stupid to pay RM 10 extra for the gift, for example the Hazel rifle. I had no choice as I wanted to read the F91 special!! Oh yeah, I found the Sept issue of Taiwan DHM selling for RM 18 here in JB, yet the Hong Kong version of the same issue sells for only RM 15.... weird....

Last year there was one issue (forgot which month) which came with a sweet figurine of 魔法教师 in 3D, now that is worth collecting. Too bad my friend got that issue and I didn't. The Hazel addons of Jan 07 seems nice, but the price might be higher though if it comes in a lot of parts. Not that I have a Hazel kit to fully utilise it anyway

I think so.. usually local Taiwan DHM are slower by 2 months... but this time they actually released the Oct issue early !! The Sept issue took almost 1 week plus to reach JB bookstores

Angel wings? I dunno, but my friend's figurine has no wings. Instead it has a small spell book... The figurine is much more nicer than the puny MSiA hazel rifle. I'd pay RM 10 extra for the figurine than a small rifle... Even my gashapon Hizack doesn't cost as much.

NO... DON'T TEMPT ME WITH HAZEL.... Argh.... *trying to resist brainwashing*

Nov issue comes with nude chick figurine... Hmph... not very pretty leh... And need painting.... Sigh... leaving it nude looks kinda ugly.

Hm... Funny, coz I always get mine either in MPH or Popular... even Indian comic stalls sells them here in JB. Couple of months ago it was virtually impossible to find them anywhere in JB, but now almost all bookstores have them

Yet there is no gunpla shop around in JB.... sigh.... only Jusco and The Store (and also a few anime/comic shops) which sell at sky high prices.

Well if you like the DOM, of course it is good to buy And it comes with hell lots of guns Good to use with other MGs. But I prefer the OYW version as the colors are much more nicer.

Zeta is not that skinny. Zeta is sleek because it needs a streamlined design for the Wave Rider mode. Nu Gundam together with HiNu are bulky mechas and I was hoping the HiNu would be bulky too. Oh well...



Noir has only two ugly pistols as its default weapons. I don't remember seeing dual rifles in the anime though I might be wrong.

Somehow I feel that the original Assault Shroud has better looking designs that the chunky Blu Duel. Throwing daggers.... Kinda stupid to me... I'd prefer the original micro missiles... And the two folding pistols makes the forearm look fat and ugly... Original Duel is still the best.

Well yes I did... And it is about time they released some good designs for HG or even 1/100. The BuCue was one of the better suits in CE. I expect a LaGowe to be released soon.

Having said that, I probably won't buy them anyway... 1/144s are too small

WALAO.... Luckily I am not a fan of SF...

Besides the BLING joints, there's nothing special. Special stand for dragoons? Hah, we can make those holders with wires... Bling joints? well, they are only joints and hence will be mostly covered by the armor. Besides, you can easily spray the normal poo joints with gold spray yourself.

But at least the dragoons can be separated... The extra posters and catalogue doesn't justify the price tag anyway. It might be better just to buy the normal 4800 yen MG SF... yet no separating dragoons

Sorry for being a spoilsport, I admit I am jealous of the SF treatment that other MGs doesn't have.

Whatever... It's still a very WOW release...

Which shop in JB sells gundam models? Sigh... A few weeks ago, during the final few days of my part-time job, I saw something real hilarious... There was this shop which sells pirated PS2 games, and on a top rack they had two 1/100 models of SF and IJ.... they were BENDI and the price was RM69.90.... I LOL'ed....

Anyway... MG GM Sniper is really crap.. The horrendous green, coupled with lots of areas that need painting, eg the rims of the vents... OMG... Nemo has a much better hue of green.

Maybe you could check out the goodies over there and see whether there are anything worth buying or not

Meanwhile, dalong.net has the review of the blue F91... Lots of areas that are molded in the wrong colours, and they need paint or stickers And look how PUNY it is compared to the MKII.

SF is not much taller than the MKII, after all both are around 18+m. And the MKII is more bulky than the SF.

GW models are similar to the F91, only 16+m... So just taller by 1cm in an MG.

1/100 Psycho gundam would be gigantic, macam PG already... maybe even taller.

ZOMFG??? If slapping on tons of WMD, or a gigantic backpack onto a simple sleek design is called kick ass, then I don't know what to say...

SEED designs are TEH YUCK.... Maybe with the exception of the original 5 GATs... But they are nothing compared to military styled UC designs.

Well the very first time I saw The O I was dumbfounded. I thought, WTF is this big blob of fat metal doing in an anime with sleek designs like Zeta? And hell ugly it was... But then when I got more exposed to UC designs, especially the Zeta storylines, I thought WOW.... The O is BADASS... In fact, even though it doesn't have much weapons (rifle and beam sabres), it still kicked loads of ass and pwned the Hyaku.

CE baddies, besides Providence, had none of the baddie boss feel... Legend was a crap spawn of its deadly predecessor; while Destiny was never intended to be a baddie boss.

The O... groin arms... Macam Nightingale.... Imagine when dueling in a melee battle, and suddenly two little pincer-like arms went up your mecha's crotch and pulled out your bal...erm, wires

Freedom and Justice are not successors of Strike and Aegis respectively. If you follow the chronological development of the CE mechas, Freedom and Justice are ZAFT made machines which used the battle data from the GAT-X machines, but they are definitely not direct descendants.

Having said that... Aegis is the best CE design EVER... Big menacing SOTONG GRIPPERS... grabbing onto your cockpit and WHAM !!! RAINBOW PLASMA BEAM IN YOUR FACE !!



Gundam V had some of the better designs of the UC era. Even the weird looking, torso combining Tomliats looked cool in MA mode, where the upper torso transformed into an Apache like assault chopper while the legs became bombers.

The model is a damn old one... 1993, 94 I think... It's no wonder that the colors and the mechanical design of the model suck. GW models, especially the 1/144s suffer similar fates as well.
