QUOTE(hitsugayat10 @ Dec 21 2006, 07:24 AM) I've always thought tat the final showdown should b like the anime SF vs Legend n IF vs Destiny... I don't think Legend and IJ will be getting MG treatment. Maybe we'll only get MG Destiny. The plastics are better used to make better MGs from other series instead of CE stuff...But watever it is, when r the other 3 MGs coming out....... Victory, V2 = these can be based on the F91/Crossbone frame GX, DX = Well, maybe based on the Freedom frame? After all Freedom looks similar to DX. And also the popular Hazel... this is even easier = we've already got an GM Quel... so should be easy for BANDAI to release the Hazel. If they want more articulation, they can also use the MKII ver2.0 frame. CE, especially GSD doesn't deserve so many MGs An MG AEGIS would be so so SO SWEET... |

Well... there's no point buying the full burst version I suppose. From 1999.co.jp it seems that the dragoons of the normal SF can be detached as well.
What for pay double for the bling joints and action base? Action base is only RM20 while gold paint is less than RM 10... Full burst is almost 8K yen, might as well use the extra 3K yen to buy another MG Unless you want two frames to go with it, which to me is pointless unless you want to use the frame to mod other gundams. 1/100 IJ perhaps. Meh... I won't even consider buying the normal SF... I loathe SF. |

The Hi-Nu indeed looks anorexic, but at least the 2 big tangki at the back is smaller now, IMO a better design than the original chunky ones.

QUOTE(300078 @ Dec 22 2006, 08:48 PM) Just saw a picture from the Figure Fm that shows that the full burst SF is onli a mixture of both gold joint and poo joint! Dunno tat it is true or not? becoz in the gundam base website it shows it all gold. I guess we'll have to wait for dalong.net to give us a pic review, coz at the moment all the pics are very ambiguous. Not that I care that much about SF anyway when a simple gold spray is all it needs to transform the normal poo joints into bling Foolish decision to get the full burst... I'd rather use the extra money to get another MG. QUOTE(sorcecold @ Dec 23 2006, 10:44 AM) after 1/100 IJ i plan to build my 2ND GUNDAM MG not that hard to built lah, but the skeleton sometimes is a bit confusing. Well, after building an MG, I think I would probably never touch 1/100 anymore. 1/100s are so sien compared to MG.... PG... too big, too expensive, too few choices.. Meh... MG FOR TEH WIN!! |

QUOTE(Fodder Soldier @ Dec 24 2006, 08:21 AM) Whee, you make me feel like going back into the cupboard and pull out all of my Victory series GunPla. Which ones have you collected so far? for the 1/100 HG series, I've got the V Gundam, V2 Gundam, GunBlastor (two, actually), and Zollidea. Stand Up To The Victory !!In my opinion, F91's frame may be the best bet for the Victories, since V and V2 is almost as tall as the F91, and I mean designwise. But take into consideration the transformation mechanisms needed. WHOA, and people thought transforming the Masterpiece Starscream is tough... For the Gundam X and DX, I think using the Crossbone X-1 as the template for the inner frame will be much more suitable compared to using the Freedom frame. Reason: the inherent dimensions of all of these Gundams. If you compare them one-to-one, X-1 matches the X/DX very closely, being that the X-1 frame is taller than the F91 frame. Freedom's frame is completely unsuitable; the height of it is over the original dimensions of the X/DX, making them out of proportion (which MG tends to do these days). And yeah, Wing Zero's frame is similar in size and height to X-1, so that'll work for X/DX too. Anyway, DX is 17m... Crossbone 16m... Freedom is 18m... so it depends whether you want to size up, or size down ur DX... maybe adding pla plates to extend the Crossbone frame would be easier, yet I've seen a GX/Divider modded with Freedom's frame before, I think that pic should be quite famous. Forgot about Victory's transfomation, so maybe F91's frame is not that suitable after all... Oh well if they can make a normal 1/100 Victory with the transformation mechanisms, I guess a simple one would suffice for the MG version. If they ever release it, that is. Lastly... what's with the worshipping of gunpla building? Maybe that should be our prayer verses in the Holy Bible of Gunpla building. Amen. QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Dec 24 2006, 08:44 AM) damn ghey lah wei Forget it. Happy holidays everyone... |

HAHAHAHA...Yeah, I thought the FBM SF has another frame but from dalong's picture FBM just replaced the normal gold color joints with gold plated joints anyway, dalong only shows the normal SF, not the Full Burst... I do agree that the MG SF looks weird compared to the normal Freedom. Maybe it's the angle... Full burst still not yet completed by dalong, yet even the bling joints don't look that bling after all... at least not as bling as Hyaku or Amatu... I just can't help think how foolish BANDAI is for releasing such an "exclusive" item... 2200 yen extra for so little crap... MEH... Don't care... say tak nak to CE !! It's thin enough for most panel linings, but some tiny areas like the mouth or certain vents, eg the sides of the head are still too small for the marker. Is there a 0.01 marker? Hm... maybe that would be more useful for smaller models like 1/144s or GW, F91 series. |

^ ya... about to post that.... Man the poo joints really look like the muddy flood waters... sorry I shouldn't make fun of the flood... my bad...
Anyway... MG SF isn't that impressive compared to MG Freedom... Seriously if I were any crazy about Bling joints, I'd rather buy an MG Freedom and spray it. The proportions of SF are not as good as the sleek Freedom.... SF looks hell chunky... |

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m97/m97_p4.htm Man, the 1/100 is seriously crap... well we all know that already Oh yeah, the poo joints... it's not as poo-ish as the 1/100... more like the yellow joints of the 1/60... The articulation is superb though... kinda like the F91 with the near-90 degree pelvic joint. |
