it has several connectors (for each gundam grade) that can fit btwn the 'crotch' joints.. so no need to worry if u got connector holes or not.. thumbup.gif so go buy 10 stands laugh.gif

RM120 for da dendrobium?? ..demmit! i should've bought that dendrobium at aunty lenny's.
she was selling it for RM50-60, if i'm not mistaken..

i think dindingapi bought one unit though...
*
laugh.gif.. i bought mine in japan for RM35 icon_rolleyes.gif

RM50-60 is quite okay for a kit that's quite hard to find nowadays.. but then again, its still way beyond its retail price thou sweat.gif ..

by the way.. didnt edison say that his supplier is bringing in the HGM Dendrobium a few weeks back? correct me if im wrong..

wow.. first we have gundam height comparisons then we fight over SEED and UC mecha.. pheww..

SIZE HISTORY:
F91 era mecha seems to be smaller in size due to the fact that the earth federation had a mobile suit 'contest' between major MS manufacturers (i.e SNRI and Anaheim). The EFF wanted their 'next-generation' MS to be compact, mobile, and packing a lot of firepower. Hence Anaheim came with the F90 series MS line and the introduction of the Variable Speed Beam Rifle (VSBR) Technology but height still reaching 18m. Then came along EFF's own Strategic Naval Research Institue (SNRI) with its own MS rendition.. the Formula series F91. Due to good size to performace ratio, the EFF made SNRI the winner and the rest is history.. Anaheim returned to the MS field only during the V gundam era (UC 150s i think) with the V Gundam for the League Militaire (dunno the spelling tongue.gif). but oso then, their suits were compact in the 15-16m range. So UC MS as we know it became smaller due to technology evolution brought by SNRI and the Crossbone Vanguard..

indeed.. im a UC hardcore fan myself.. gunpla and anime alike..
i hate the CE 'anime' but not the mechas tongue.gif i still collect the HGseeds and such
some mechas frm seed hv thier own distinct original feel to them.. and strike and the astray are among them.. the designs are marvelous and somewhat a contra to the UC universes' military feel.

We just hv to see SEED as the 'child' of the UC universe. Children hv some or more the traits of their parents rite? so whtas wrong with CE hving copying the UC then? hell the initial reason they created seed is to attract newer generations to the gundam universe, a generation that just like flashy graphics and lotsa explosion, compared to the gloomy-space-opera-like UC universe.. and they hv managed to do so.

soooo as gunpla lovers, and modellers, we shouldnt be fighting over which is the coolest which is the rip-off and such, but stay true to the gunpla universe and collect the models as u see fit.. cheers!

pick 1 only shakehead.gif
so, you're saying that SEED designs are better? tongue.gif
come on, I'm just asking which you like the best. Like for me, even though Freedom is a better version of Strike (you can say the child of Strike Gundam) and Justice is a better version of Aegis etc etc...I still like Strike more because...I just do smile.gif
*
not that seed is better.. its just an 'modernization' of the gundam universe.. even if its a total rip-off..

C.E mecha i like most? it was the Strike.. but now ive fallen for the Astray Red Frame.. just love its Gerbera Straight thumbup.gif but then again the strike still rings my bell in some way or another.. tongue.gif

QUOTE(whoami123 @ Dec 18 2006, 02:20 PM)
Seed is nice but not Seed Destiny
IMO, SD is totally a rip off
Seed has cool Gundam design (like Strike, Justice)
while MS in SD are mostly upgrade ver. of Seed MS  vmad.gif
*
well said.. Gundam Seed's pace and story line was quite 'good', but SD was rushed and poorly developed, character and story-wise. - in the end SD became a stupid lotsa-flashback-cum-gundam-rip-off anime.. doh.gif

now for my latest UC kit, bought yesterday for RM30... the Gun Blastor 'Gun EZ' Gundam frm the ever so hard to find Vgundam kits thumbup.gif

user posted image user posted image user posted image user posted image

its a 1/100 scale HG, but then again, its height is nearly the same as the EX-S in 1/144 scale... its total height is just 14.6m doh.gif far shorter than the ever small F91

ahh.. the the color mold was totally out.. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif shud hav been darker! bandai wtf are you doin ere??? vmad.gif vmad.gif

Added the V-fin to make it look more 'Gundam-ish' tongue.gif

*
that seems to be a fair price for a 2500Yen, RM70+ kit.. but better wait for other shops like TM or Graffiti to sell.. must be cheaper.. arnd 80+ maybe..?? look at the EX- s HGUC selling at TM.. RM125?? for a 2200 kit??? now thats damn expensive!

good thing i bought my TR-5 frm japan.. only cost me RM60+ after christmas sales smile.gif but feeling like to get another one locally for modding.... thumbup.gif

The one in 7th floor of Times Square is something like RM125 for the TR-5. I need to check again.

But one thing. The box is definitely bigger among the HGUCs.
*
its Time Machine.. always sell bigger boxed HGUCs at high prices..

the box is way bigger.. 2 boxes of standard hgucs stacked 2gether.. but that doesnt justify them to sell it for RM125??? lagi mahal dari MG!!

even xl is selling for RM98. I think the Aunty there thinks all HGUCs are 'Limited Edition'.

Or rather, more expensive than my MG C1 (RM96, same shop).
*
exactly.. dunno la why the price range like that.. the aunty there should revise loo..

the price of super clear sprays at TM are also up a notch.. bought my super clear flat for rm28 at TM in october, and now price up to RM40?????? while topcoats are still at RM30 tho.. really taking advantage of the sudden 'urge' of mecha modelling.. well what to say..

anyone here bought the HGUC GM Striker or the HG Kerberos BuCue? care to share some pics? icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif
