yup.. there are two versions of Mr. Surfacer, and both do the same job. But the spray can version allow u to spray the whole sprue in one go but the bottled ones require u to apply it on the parts manually.. so it saves time to buy the canned version. oso the Mr. surfacer has a few types frm my experience:

1. Mr.Surfacer 1000
2. Mr.Surfacer 1500
3. Mr.Surfacer White 1000
4. Mr.Surfacer White 1500

*1000 and 1500 implies the 'texture' of the spry when applied the higher the rougher the surface will be.

*the Surfacer White is designed for surfacing of parts that u want to paint white, coz the standard surfacer base color is light gray

now for top coats.. there are 2 types commonly availible here in malaysia.. the Mr.Hobby Topcoat (flat.semi-gloss.gloss) and the Mr. Super Clear (flat.semi.gloss). The difference in both two are only the composition.. Topcoat is water based and Super Clear is chemical based me thinks.. if ure using a custom paint job, its better for u to use the Topcoat version as Super Clear 'MAY' (dont quote me on this) damage ure custom paint as its chemical based.. even so, Super Clear are just as good for out of box builds..

i think edison's stock wont have this kit in the short run... coz his supplier usually stock-up mostly MG.. i couldnt wait and just bought it at local a hobby shop

lol.. speaking of the uncle and aunty in TM, a few days back i was there in TM to buy me self a Huckebein MK-III Boxer, coz the only place ive found it is in TM. i was lookin around and holding d box of the Boxer, then the aunty came and enthusiastically told me that its a new model (of course) and that its a special limited release model just one in malaysia (wth?) and then she carried on and told me that it can transform.... transform? i smiled ( )

yeah i know she's not as well informed like us but.. ahh nevermind..

and oso if u want a good deal, buy when the owner Derrick, their son, is there, he can give u a good deal, rather than the aunty and uncle who are always firm and serious.. and 'less' informed

XL mcm dun wan to sell SRW kit anymore..? jus remembered, the Genspenst MK-II and SRX kit also arrived at XL 1month++ late frm the release date..

Yep.. its quite 'un-poseable' but u'll let it go after indulging in its shear greatness in size and stature its a majestic kit... for me. but one thing bugs me is that the shoulder armor of the boxer unit needs to be glued to fit in place..

uh.. nope la.. found it in a random mecha pic gallery dunno if its official or not. and yes it looks like a GM, but the head is simillar to the pic shown to us a few posts back. And i kinda feel the knee armor is quite the same as the GFF ver. Blue Destiny.. hmm..

well, u know local importers, they'll tend to mark up here and there..

there's another shop selling topcoats and superclear me thinks.. its located inside City Square, in front of Ampang park, the shop is called Hobby HQ. But no gundams there.. mostly military models. but they do stock up on paints and other modelling tools.... but dunno abt their pricing tho.. coz me myself havent had the chance to go there yet.

Woot.. just went browsing to few book stalls.. and to my amazement.. the free 'naked' figure that comes free with the NOV issue DHM is MISSING!!!! 2-3 shops i went all were missing! also checked out Popular Bookstore.. they also got the figure MISSING!! and what grinds my bones is that the price... wait for it... is RM18!!!!!!??????????? without any freebees! WTFH??

Hi yall.. just picked up 2 GM Quel 2day.. but lazy enough to put 2gether just one.. didnt even bothered to top-coat or put stickers on yet..

here's some pics and some comparison with the Hazel II frame:










As said b4, its mostly the same wit the Hazel II, but the difference lies in small areas like there is no slot for the torso/soulder mounted launchers, the lower abdomen of the torso's color is titan blue (not gray as the other hazels), and the upper chest area near the shoulders have two extra verniers... and of course an extra weapons hand to allow us to pull a john woo...

Just luv the Dual-Wield!!

yep.. its labelled AOZ, comes with lotsa TTT and Titans insignia stickers.. the bacpack, feet, and head are a little bit different frm the 0083 version Quels...

ahhh.. the primrose is just toooo sweeet! so did u bought the jap version DHM to get that baby?

talking about coloring.. which one is better, hand painted (i.e tamiya paints etc.) or marker painted? planning to color my Hrududus and upcoming Primrose, but dunno what to use.. paint or markers..?

am having doubts of hand painting.. but after seeing a forumer hand painted his hazel a few pages back im now keen to do so.. any tips/tricks on how to have an even spread of paint?

the MG Noir is the 98th MG if i remember as the Hi-Nu is the 97th. so 1 more releases and we get a 100th MG.. berdebar˛

it izzint fully assembled, but its abt 95% fully colored according to the anime/design colors... gundams hg,pg, or mg mostly are all colored this way.. so u don hv to worry abt the coloring parts..

as for the assembly.. i doubt u can get a fully assemble SF. but if ure willing or u hv the money, there r some ppl in this forum may hv the skills to assemble,mod, and color model kits, just that u have to buy the kit first, then send to them to assemble-mod-color and might cost u extra rm300 + the kit price, so u go around rm500 plus minus..

if ure wondering how 'hard' is the assembly process, i dare to say to u its quite easy if ure aged 12 and above that is.. its quite simple really...

what u get out of the box? example:



this is a typical HG kit, so u get colored runners.. mostly u dun need any sort of coloring..



these are the whole runners.. so u need to have a cutter of sume sort to cut away these parts away frm the runners.. fret not, the runners/parts are all coded in like runner A part no. 23 for example, so the manual represents the part as A23 to assemble.



this is an example of the assembly manual.. even tho its 100% japanese, the pics are enough to guide u thru the assembly process.. trust me.

and if u need good deals on gundam kits, u can always go HERE to one of our forummers for good deals..

lol.. mostly everyone has at least bought thier gunpla's at high prices.. all before knowing edison or even good shops like Time Machine, Fantasy Toys, Grafitti, etc..

consider ureself undergone a 'rite of passage' to be a gunpla collector..

anyways.. why dun u withdraw frm the bid..? sure it may look bad for ure reputation, but 100++ is quite a lot of money.. if i were u i just FFK just my 10 sen..
