Just went to proton showroom (Senawang). They give 5k rebate with 3 years warranty / 150k km. Too bad, they don't have model with new Hu.
I have 1 concern with the old and new hu. Does old hu support for screen mirroring for Android phone?
Thanks.

QUOTE(boonheng87 @ Mar 1 2015, 09:34 PM) Hi Preve Users/Experts, Would like to ask regarding the Turbo 1.6 Preve. With the huge discounts, worth to get that or the ordinary executive? Anyone has bought the turbo for 6months-1 year in 2014 mind to share the downside? Also, mind to share the fc for both? Sorry the thread is just too long. Hope those who are free could help to shed some valuable point. Tq. =) I also want to know this. Thanks.

QUOTE(theonlyvin @ Mar 1 2015, 11:36 PM) Still depends on your budget. They are same on discount for both variant. Of course turbo gaves you not only extra accessories, but with VT3+ GB, EVP and turbo. But the cost is 10k higher. 10k, not a small amount for me LOL. If u always stuck in Jam, or city drive all the time, do bear in mind that the FC is worst. Most probably 11L/100km or more. Highway drive very save fuel. No worry. Downside - loud whinning sound as compare to other cvt vehicle, a bit of rattling, some minor2 issue which can be solved by SC. (Take times). Overall u spend 73k for such spec And safety features which others cars might cost u 90k and above. What u pay, what u get. Thats it. Is there any news about Preve Facelift or All-New-Preve? Hehehe.. Thanks.

Day 3 : Grinding noise came out.. sounds like "wooooo....woooooooo....woooooo". Its CVT noise, right? Normal characteristic for Preve?
Should we take out the key fob or just leave it there after engine started? What is the correct way? Thank you.

Do we really need to warm-up the engine until temperature indicator turn to half (CFE)? Per manual, we need to but from my reading..it waste the fuel.
Day 2: Fueled-up till full tank. Day 3: Already dropped 2 bars. Mileage still below 100km. Average speed ~70km/h. Is this normal for first 1000KM?
Senawang. You know right, not super jam like KL/Penang.
I guess, the FC is very bad.
Thank you.

QUOTE(farghmee @ Apr 3 2015, 11:49 AM) do all cars with start-stop button need few steps before ignition? i'm not familiar with this kind of switch.. since the beginning of this thread few years back, proper way of switching on the engine was always discussed. therefore i'm suggesting to Proton that they shall embed the ignition procedure on the dashboard, so that the driver will know the proper ignition sequence. Yes. It already mentioned in manual book. Unfortunately, most of SA only teach the easy step. 1. Insert the key to the key fob 2. Press the brake pedal and push the start button. Thank you.

I have another concern. After switched off the engine, the fan MUST be automatically spining to cool down the engine or depends? Mine, Sometimes fan pusing, sometimes not. If the fan not berpusing, i can hear a sound like "tak" or " toing"(spring putus). Is it normal for Preve CFE? Thanks.
