New preve owner here. This morning my preve engine cannot stop.
I pushed the button many times still cannot.

Is this normal? Can SC fix this?

yes Chuan Hong. exactly what you described here. mines the mechanical glass crack likely sound when i wind down a bit from fully close condition as well as during wind up until nearly fully close. i guess we are having same condition but mines can't be solve by just applied lubricant at rubbery lining area. i just went to SC last week and took me whole day waiting there but do nothing for me besides just spray "silicone spray" at rubbery lining area for 2mins .. that's all !@#$@$@#$. i'm please the technician to help me take a look inside the power window but been refused so as they said "kita half day ja, leceh nak buka tu pintu, lagi pun you punya power window spring dah improved version. tak kan ada problem cam kereta yr2012-13. tu i dah spray, tunggu sejam tu akan hiling bunyi"... sigh!!! as expected the problem still exist today.. i feel fed up with this minor minor problem that need to heading SC frequently but have to wait whole day like idiot but they do nothing after this and just keep ask you come back again... WTH.

Just for information, can the Preve CFE (Turbo) Premium uses RON95 fuel?  Will be getting mine soon.

Hey guys, I want to ask how much does it cost to fix the power socket located at the arm rest. Mine's broke without ever been use..

i just changed my cvt gearbox oil and filter for 60K service at proton sc. now the cvt whining is getting worse and sounds like the gearbox is going to break eventhough at 90 km/h.

is it because the gearbox oil is overfilled? is there a dipstick to check oil level? what should i do? im scared like hell now.... it just a 3 years old car man....

My new Preve Exec have noise (sounds like metal twisting and 'clarking') when going through bumpy road. The noise is from the back. Is that normal?

super lot of different bro. 3ST is so much gripper, and much more comfortable, less tyre noise. U know i only change front to 3ST, then i suddenly heard very funny wong wong noise, sound like balancing problem, when i drive at 100km/h, i tot is balancing problem. I go back michelin ask, they say not balancing problem, is becos 3ST is quiet tyre, so the noise u hear is actually the noise from ur back champiro tyre noise, u feel like it is from the front. Then i see the tyre age also 5yrs, brittle can see small small hairline crack liao, i tukar. VOILA, no more funny sound.

Nowadays, Michelin Primacy 3 ST tyre cheap dy.
Here(Seremban) RM350.

That's my car doing 110 km/h on LPT2. I'm using Pilot Sport 3 on all 4 corners. You can barely hear the tyre noise. The only sound you hear are the CVT drone and the aircond. And you know what? 3ST is supposed to be quieter than the PS3 I'm using. Needless to say I'm happy with the PS3. Would I choose 3ST? No, because PS3 has better performance especially in the wet, yet it is very comfortable and not noisy at all.

Finally, a complaint from me but not a big prob.

I noticed the steering is not balanced. I have to steer a bit to the left on a straight road constantly.

What is the cost if i do balancing and alignment at Proton Service Centre?

If i do that in normal shop (for better price of course) wud the warranty voided?

hi all, i have 1 problem with my preve, my door at driver side is difficult to close/lock. i have to pull very hard then only can lock. I'm worried later the door will damaged if i constantly pull it very hard. before i send to sc, i want to if someone experienced it and know what's the problem and can diy. thanks

My power window do not know why, sudden stuck when close up... anyone experience the same and how to resolve?

But it stuck like anti-trap feature turn on.... But in fact, nothing there

Now using preve cfe for 3 months.
Pleased with my red preve.. at first, i was shocked a bit with the performance.. can beat 2.0 car easily and usually highway user will let me potong them.. hehe... satisfy with the handling performance ( had connering at 120kmph and still stable )
ODO will get to 10k soon.. want to change fully syntetic engine oil.. occasionally I use v power shell for for performance at rm2.90/litre..

After 10k service. I want to do these.

1. Sound proofing using autoform ( feels like uncomfortable to hear vehicles and tyre sound outside) - expected damage RM880.00

2. Change to Red Black leather seat - expected damage RM1600

3. Add tinted ( currently using prefe stock tinting film . Anyone knows about the light transparency on windows using preve stocks tinted? If I put additional tinted, jpj will disturb tak? - expected damage RM1000.
