Hi guys, wanna ask some question, is proton preve exec auto worth to buy? Currently in my area there is no car for test driving , so wondering how is the performance of the car ? and what is the fuel cost every KM? I'm only for normal use and run sales. Unfortunately premium is out of my budget...only considering persona or preve exec...please give me some advice , thanks

Officially became the proud owner of prev exec solid white.So far so good.The only issue a bit sluggish at first but it get better once it gain momentum.

I would like to ask if exec version has the feature to check balance fuel..as in how many km i can go?if yes, how do i set it ?

BTW is it normal for them to give stocks that exposed to the rain and hot sun?

Coz i noticed the ready stock dirty and the rear rim got rust as well as the disc brake.

they said the rim rusty is normal and the disc brake rust will be gone after some time u drive the car.

I notice got big scratches on the gear knob and also the door (interior)

they said the can change the gear knob and that plastic on the door before i receive the car

should i take this car guys?

or should i request for newer one

coz i think this is March 2015 stock. donno how long they put on open space

after i changed my engine mounting, day and night different when i start the car.. omg so different, there is no vibration at all when the car is idle.. feel like the car wanna stall. i had been driving it with so much vibration since day 1. now even high speed cruising or when u step on pedal, the car doesnt vibrate much like before.. the engine is much quieter at cruising at 100km/h that u start to hear more wind noise and road noise lol..

Guys........ask ur driving opinion.....will going to genting next week. Previously my vios I can maintain on d and 2/3.... My Wife preve Is EXec model.i think the Car Is heavier and i nightly need power. If i maintain it at low gear will it hurt the engine?

Just realised this morning that I am over paying for my Preve Turbo. Why? I hardly ever use functions like auto cruise, swift(?) paddle, etc and worst of all, my ESC is faulty which the SC still has not fixed it!

Paying extra for a turbo and not using the extra features. Dumb buyer! Ha.

My town is so small that auto cruise etc tak dapat pakai.

I enjoy using the autocruise, especially along the spots prone to high speed cam.

Man you really sound like a nice guy, but you're being such a pussy when it comes to your relation with your car. Complain about this, complain about that. But when I read about how you actually drive your car, the answer is obvious why you are having those 'pussy problems' with your car which could have been rectified if you actually know how to use your car's potential. All your issues with engine knocking , CVT whine loud , engine rev unpleasant, bla bla bla. You don't even know how to drive your car properly ! I won't even go into details how or why, as it'll take too much of my time.

Anyway, I have driven up Cameron and Genting in S mode all the way, and there was no problem whatsoever till now. Just be smart. Don't pussy-fy your Preve. Although it was made to feel more like a family car, it was never made to be a pussy.

I drive my wife's Preve every 2-3 weeks n had driven it even up to Kota Baru about 700+km away
Unlike several users who complain about the car I don't find any serious issues. Car is CFE model n 2+ years old with mileage 17+k km. Only issue was slight noise at back seat in initial days n was rectified within an hour at service center
We don't push our cars hard n on highgway at 100-110 usually n rare ocassions car will auto speed up to 120-130 n we immediately slowed it down.
We don't face at all those funny sounds reported especially onnheavy braking, dashboard creaking, windows panel loosen etc etc
This car I view is a family car N wrong to use as racing car ...shocked some of you guys pushing it to 160-180 km/hour . Such drivers should purchase those sports saloon instead .
Overall we r happy w the car n at its price rm69k nothing much to complain about. My other more expensive saloons seriously had more problems than it
We tested Almera, Vios n Civic before deciding on this reasonable price car n we had no regrets.

My memory is getting rusty. I just recalled having drove the Preve Turbo up to Genting once, though it was entirely on D and not S.

Hi guys , ive had a new preve cfe for more than a couple of weeks now and I have reached 1010 km on the odo due to the fact that I had to go out of town for an emergency .

The question is , is there a leeway when it comes to the first service that will not affect my 5 year maintenance ? For instance plus 50km or minus 50km ? I did not affect my maintenance yet have i ?

I have 2 inquiries that required sifu's guide, sorry if i make stupid question here. thx in advance.

1. where can i find step by step open the passenger side door compartment since I hate with the crack crack sound when the window glass closing and opening. it happen on and off previously but become serious recently. i have difficulty to visit SC for long queuing by certifying this issue so was thinking to have luck if i can fix/ find something wrong when compartment are open up by my own. thx.

2. Is that true/must we have to pull hand brake before putting the gear nod to "P" else it gonna hurt the gear box. i didn’t practices this since day one but keep seeing ppl sharing article to advise ppl do so. thx again

Did anyone know is there any service charge or GST apply during certifying problematic power window at SC? If not mistaken power window come with 10yrs warranty right.
