Well if you are looking for something cheap,  then head down to Nilai 3, there is one shop that sell 2 din unit that fit in Prevé,  perfectly.  Cost rm895. If you want to add in HD camera add another rm300. Price inclusive of installation.

Whilst I was there I saw they install the unit into one red preve,  and sound is ok,  they also able to map the steering buttons to the Hu.  Sound wise with stock is more then acceptable,  and to my ears better then stock Hu,  most probably due to higher power output from this unit.

GPS uses papago as standard on window ce unit and uses malfree maps,  so You can update the map for free.

They also have the branded unit Kenwood etc. On display.  So you can listen in to differentiate the differences and try out the interface.

Really tempted to put in my preve but as mine still waiting for the auto rain sensor unit repair I will not touch any of stock wiring for the moment.

Unfortunately I do not have the address it is eleven A or something. They have have several shops in nilai 3 itself. I believe this one is the same one if you want to see and contact dealer.

You stated the FC is great. Mean how many km/l?

Thank you.
*
I'm doing about 7.8 to 8.5 l/100 km, please convert urself, Im not picky over fc given the drive I get. Depends on my driving patterns that week.btw went to sc, intermittent knocking sound is from faulty driveshaft but cannot claim due to rims unless got member here want to rent out their wheels for a day or 2. Turns out got no wiring issue, just change bulb.

Have always been wondering what GPS version you guys (thouse who purchased CFE in late 2014) have. If you guys don't mind, maybe can take out the SD card and share the update here? hmm.gif

Me, end of July car. Version seems latest but map is still outdated.. So don't look forward to spend rm300 for a sd card.. I only use my stock HU as reverse camera viewer, Bluetooth, radio, music and CD player.. Gps I do have my iPad and smartphone.

good thing doesn't come cheap.
less then 2k you can get mid-range model from branded. mostly doesn't come with 7inch display.
Nakamichi was a very good brand before. You can take it if suit you.

What I know is what you can simply Google, like EA those.
their price usually not cheap. I know one person selling Pioneer at very low price. But not very dare to approach it.
Besides price of the product, you should also make sure workmanship, later wiring fxxk up, say bye bye to warranty.
I myself wanted to change but price doesn't really satisfy the usage. If I have that budget, might do soundproof or leather seat first.
