Battery life is much better after latest update AW5.1, easily get 1.5 (sometimes 2 days) days with Ambient mode off. And yes, its water resistant, IP67 rated.

Nope. No news about the launch date at all. Only reveal stuffs like "premium packaging box" etc. They are taking too long, by the time its released, other Android Wear smartwatch already 2nd Gen.
