Sometimes if you notice battery life like this and the back of the watch feels a bit hot, restart it to improve it. What version are you on? 5.1.1?

Yup, risky. That is why I modified my Pebble Steel strap, had to send to machine some part off, so that no contact is made between the band and the plastic backplate when I wear it around my wrist.

SteelConnect will open up limitless strap options, as it fits any standard 22mm strap.

Also can search on facerepo.com for watchfaces. All requires WatchMaker app to work.

Hmm, no such problem for me. But I did factory reset the watch and re-sync everything before using it as 5.1.1.

I don't use the wifi or wrist gesture as well. But I do enjoy the faster performance and better battery life, oh and the draw emoji feature is neat.

For me, its all about notifications. I have the need to know about the notifications on my phone. And incoming calls is important for me as well, so I won't miss a call.
Plus, having the weather info on my wrist is a plus for me, as well as making calls while driving, replying message etc.

Google Keep. Just form a list with it, and open it via the Watch. You can view the whole list on the watch, with the new update, the app will not jump out when screen off.

Make sure Wifi feature is off.

By then, might as well go for Moto 360 2nd gen...Don't know what Huawei is doing, delaying the watch...

Regarding back cracking, it really depends on how you wear it, and what is the size of your wrist. I have no problems whatsoever because I am using the SteelConnect which eliminates the risk of backplate cracking.

So far it also depends whether its a hairline crack or major crack/chip. I see reports where hairline cracks (although quite long), do not affect its the water-proof properties and the watch can still work 100% normal/charging etc.

Don't worry, Motorola's forte is to let you use latest software on older devices, so I think will still have software support for at least another year.

Haha, I had the SteelConnect M180 but I sold off to another forumer already. Currently using the M225.

And RM600 for 2 day old is a good deal.

You will need a Qi wireless charger/powerbank for that, as the Moto 360 uses wireless charging.

And yes, RM600 can get decent traditional watch, namely Seiko/Fossil etc.

But to be able to change watchface everyday and not missing notifications/calls, control music/media on phone, and many more features is a huge bonus.
