Mine have been experiencing sudden death when battery approaching 40%. Two times already in two weeks. Now i am trying to get used to the classic watch again.

Same. When I'm performing a software reset, it will turn off itself and can't even finish the update the progress.
Now gonna try to get the battery fix first, and if it doesn't help, I will consider to jump back to classic watches. Damn frustrating...

haha i'm back to classic watch for 2 weeks now. my moto 360 now sitting as a desk clock on the dock edy.

plus the watch screen seems to suffer from OLED burn-in edy. I guess its time of its life, 1 year and 5 months.

I dont have any intention on buying any smartwatches for now, so back to classic for now. biggrin.gif

I sold my Moto 360 1st gen to friend, he had trouble charging and updating. After few experiment and attempt, his conclusion was overheat causing issue. He bring the watch and charging cradle to office, no issue at all under air-conditioning. Then he go home try again, same issue. Now he have small USB fans blowing it when charging.

I'm speechless sweat.gif

Mine has a dark bluish spot, which I suspect due to external force. sweat.gif
There's a time I pressed the screen too hard because it's not responding.

Not really overheating issue IMO. Mine just work perfectly fine without external cooling.

Guys, not sure if this phone battery drain is happening to just me.

No problems with the watch battery but my phone battery drains pretty quickly - 100 to 0 in about 8 hours. Usually lasts me about 18-20 hours. Battery app shows that culprit are "Google Play Services" and "Android OS".

Anyone experiencing the same?

Using the Moto 360 2nd Gen 42mm with Sony Xperia Z5. Both software on their latest updates - 6.0.1 for Sony. Wifi sync switched off. Google Now and location services on

Tried restarting bro. It's been a problem from the start since I purchased the watch a couple of weeks ago.

So meaning to say normally there isn't a huge drain on phone when using the Moto 360 like what I'm seeing?

Well, for good value, you can't beat online price and offers. Can go Thunder Match to test hands-on, then order online.

LCD burn in are not as easy as AMOLED. Also, even on Ambient mode, if say you leave it on table, it will turn off display completely after sometime.

If want to prevent burn in, can use digital type watch face. Some watchfaces even have burn-in prevention.
