Those dropped points vs united, city, and sunderland suddenly looking extremely costly right now.

We gave away an 8 point lead. Bit hard to digest but that's the reality of it. Our bench is currently looking a bit uninspiring at the moment and that's a real worry.

That miskick from salah from 6 yards out and lloris's save vs azpilicueta sealed our fate. Surprised didier / remy wasn't thrown in.

given Drog's performance against spurs at home, i'm surprised he was not thrown in in the 2nd half.

Mou need to take action for our defense. I'm sure other teams will take granted our weakness on the iva side...

After we lead, we seem controlled the game. If we got penalty for hand ball, the game is over. If situation goes to spurs for handball, im pretty sure reff will give penalty! But the downfall start from the first goal. Oscar fab easily outmuscled by kane. After that, all goals conceded because of iva cahill. Sloppy defending!

Yup, i dont know why drogba not playing. I think if we have drogba, we can play direct football. It really surprised!

Azpi should take iva spot and luis should play after this. Please sign someone on the right jose. Willian seem a bit complacent on the right. Seem untouchable even he play very poor. Oscar dont know what happened. Disappeared!

We desperately needed to score that second when we were on top. That oscar chance from costa's pass comes to mind sad.gif . I think vertonghen definitely handled the ball when he was on the ground, and effectively stopped it from getting to one of our players. Even when hazard was through on goal he was clipped from behind and the officials didn't even blink.

I have this bad feeling that many big decisions will be called against us in the coming games, especially the 50/50 ones and we must cope with this by being tighter in defense and more efficient upfront. This spurs game is one hell of a blip, and i'm not sure how our back four will recover from suddenly conceding five, with four coming from schoolboy errors. Terry, cahill and iva were shockingly bad, with only azpi being fairly decent at LB.

Apart from harry kane's equaliser, all the other goals could've been prevented. I notice terry and cahill have developed a habit of trying to step out at the same time to close down players who receive the ball in the box, and it lead to us conceding. Both finally getting fatigued by the hectic schedule maybe?

I do feel maybe oscar was also dragged off a bit too early..he did provide the assist for our opener after all and it could be argued that half the team went missing after spurs equalised, not just oscar sweat.gif .

Indeed worrisome when come to 50:50 decision mights gone against us.
besides chelsea aren't helping himself either with few diving
It is best mou should try to make the play as clean as possible trying best to stay on feet.
Not sure if fatigue really caught up with terry and cahill.
mou should have give more chances to zouma.

sad about the lost... was not feeling well so i skip the game. Man City finally caught up... even without some key players they are really good. But January shopping window is open... I wonder Mou will sign any players or stick to what we have.

Mourinho did mentioned that he will not be into January transfer window as he is fine with what we already have. Plus, I do not think we need any other players during January transfer window as well. We don't really have a good record on players who signed in January. sweat.gif

It all comes down to the fatigue. Mourinho should start considering to have rotation policy, giving our fringed or young players some time to play while we can rest some of the key players. No one can ever perform at the top level when they are playing every match week-in week-out. This does not do any good to the team and frankly, it increases the possibility of injuring a player as well.

Leaking 5 goals in a game does not seem like a champion material to me. They really need to buck up or get Mourinho to have rotation policy because it is clear that the fatigue is kicking in.

Some players should be dropped for complacency. Willian and Oscar were poor in that match

No. Leave him there. He is currently developing himself as a proper left back. I would not want to disrupt his progress. By end of this season, Iva will need a sub eventually as he is aging. Azpi will be a perfect one for right, Bertrand and Luis can fight for left back.
