QUOTE(szaku89 @ Sep 24 2015, 02:14 PM) I did a search online for steering wheel covers, almost all fit for the dimension of 36-38cm, which the one i bought last time it's also the same measurement, which it doesn't fit for persona's steering. Any suggestions on what type of steering wheel cover should I buy? ![]() YONEX? |

This time I'm more specific, measured the exact width of steering which is 36cm. And also measure the steering cover. And t difficult to fit it in, very tight. Gosh my hands a bit pain now. |

QUOTE(J-keyLudacris @ Sep 30 2015, 12:48 PM) I tried, no it doesn't give the kind of high pitch sound like the video I've posted, they made the old cow URABUS old car to scream like a beeouch.FYI, I've overhauled many Gen2s, the kampro without ekzos sounded very close to this vid |

Ayam started slowly digging on our CM body nowadays, figure many performance part(terutama handling related) can be exchange with Plotong Wigra. Wasn't expect some of the parts taken from this car few years ago can still be use again ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by davidke20: Oct 3 2015, 09:14 PM |

QUOTE(micxonexp2 @ Oct 7 2015, 01:33 PM) hi all..im new here..i bought a second hand persona year 2006. the problem is that the handling cannot be straight after doing a sharp turn (when release steering will turn to left/right depending which last turn i take).. now..old owner installed some sports rim with wide surface covered...will it actually effect the steering? i check in a service centre and claimed need to change the whole set of tyre and rim..any other suggestion? Do the cheapest 1st:1) Alignment - RM25. Usually if both side negative toe, after turning then steering will not kick back 2) During alignment, get the magician to check on the steering rack bush. If the bush is worn off, steering rack sagged and unable to retract the tie rod 3) Usually those who use mangkuk rim will have to set camber, and it did affect the flexibility of steering return kick backs. Get the magician sort your camber/castor out at the same time. 4) 1 should avoid mangkuk rim at all cost. You're not going on a proper racing, that kind of offset will only give you UNDERSTEER on most circumstances, let alone wheel bearing will cepat rosak. Get magician check also if the tayar already cambered(makan sebelah, this will also affect steering kickback if previous owner terbalik the tayar botak facing outside, still got thread go back inside) 5) If budget allowed, trade in the mangkuk rim and get a set of proper 6.5/7J rim for yourself with a PROPER offset for the car. Consider a set of new eco tyre as well which may help in fuel economy. Redo 4 wheel alignment/camber/castor and change to silicone steering bush. QUOTE(ckdenion @ Oct 7 2015, 02:57 PM) Unless you bai and install it in your white VIOS QUOTE(ckdenion @ Oct 7 2015, 02:59 PM) i installed mine but sold together with the car d. what u wanna know? Comes to think of it, yes indeed btw davidke20, u rmbr u mentioned that my persona gear shift is smoother compared to other personas that u'd driven before...could this be the reason (atf cooler installed)? |

QUOTE(zr125 @ Oct 13 2015, 08:19 AM) Those are trolls. Basically aircond/radio has nothing to do with power drain after engine shut. Usually what causes excessive power drain is wire short circuit of amplifier, wrongly connected radio(meaning that even off engine the radio still can be turned on), and also faulty instrument panel(namely the clock function sot jor). Technically, you'll need an experienced wayar guy to troubleshoot your fusebox powah output piece by piece to see which 1 is drawing powah even engine is off.Like CK said, you may try to off(technically after engine shut, radio and akon is already off regardless). And however if you'll be able to turned those stuff ON after engine off, then kon9lan7fem got short circuit liao. QUOTE(ckdenion @ Oct 13 2015, 08:29 AM) QUOTE(ckdenion @ Oct 13 2015, 08:31 AM) no idea man...perhaps u can try? no harm anyway. just to prove whether battery can last longer or not I just figured, my Persona Hatchback after engine off still can roll the powah window |
