QUOTE(haur @ Feb 13 2015, 08:04 PM) Is it confirmed AIFM Kong? You can message me your mobile ma? I'll send you the sound clip. I'm in Penang btw....... find an empty road drive, when got tak-tak noise quickly release acceleration pedal and shift gear to neutral let the car coasting itself. if no difference in noise level means non-engine and non-gearbox related. i suspect something from your wheel... QUOTE(ajie @ Feb 15 2015, 11:03 AM) Hi all. Once in a while I experience this kind of problem where my alarm suddenly on and the going off, later on again and then goes off again. repeating many times without me pushing any button at the remote. Anyone knows how to solve this problem? do you notice the door open indicator showing-up/blinking during driving? or during night driving sometime the room light will blink-blink (set to door light)? if yes, the door opening sensor detects one of the door not tightly close, either sensor's defect or door position not fully fit, need some minor adjustment

QUOTE(rex82 @ Feb 16 2015, 08:48 AM) After change to 10w30 engine oil, been noticed that my car fan radiator been spinning most of the time after i shutdown my engine. Too hot the engine after use 10w30? did you change coolant during the service? try open up the small radiator cap (not the spare tank) when engine cool, add water (distilled water) see how much you can add in. Don't let some coloring of coolant fool you it looks like full, actually it's not. Happened once on me after change coolant, inside radiator still have air bubble so spare tank full, but actual water level is around 3/4 or 4/5 of full on radiator side as I managed to add another 200-300 ml water. (i didn't know the spongy feel like you guys said earlier). u so fc-conscious not driving as fast as raimy mar, see the speed he saying. u concentrating on showing the good fc-figure after run i still remember...

QUOTE(raimy_m9 @ Feb 27 2015, 03:55 PM) lol you see many complaints on persona brake system..spongy, can't brake in time, need to brake from afar..lel.no need so fast la..try emergency brake from 60, see how la..the car won't even have this bite feelings..and can't even brake in time. need to always aware and cautious..like i always did before.. yes, no e-brake's kind of braking force feel. so i either fast drop down gear or shift to neutral... QUOTE(iskazulka @ Feb 27 2015, 04:00 PM) no, that time ayam not concentration on FC. it just that i am just that kind of driver. drive slow and steady. so, stock brake system is just ok for me. drive 110km/h on highway is not fc conscious btw. btw, i feel stock saga brake is better ic, same like me, obeyed to traffic and no feel the need for speed.

QUOTE(mingwei1992 @ Mar 15 2015, 05:17 PM) Scared d I think I just got 1st issue with my car Sometimes cannot engage to drive when shifting from n or p. Set any idea? Will send it to sc to have a look soon our automatic gear shouldn't have such problem as it doesn't have shift lock like some other "expensive" car. but sometime i do "feel" there is more resistant than usual when shifting from P > R. What i "automatically" do is i release foot brake, then reapply foot brake again and use "more" force to pull it down... not unusual as it still can shift, maybe just "feeling"... QUOTE(Super Saiya @ Mar 15 2015, 05:35 PM) Fuh lucky you... I have difficulty to start. I always need the key to stuck at middle at least 5 seconds before can start the engine. If not, it will not start. how old is your car? new car shouldn't have this problem. send to SC complain if it's still under warranty.

QUOTE(mingwei1992 @ Mar 15 2015, 06:53 PM) I can shift to d just that at my dashboard it doesn't show and when u press accelerator it doesn't move means gear is not shifted. 1 day and half day old lol wow, never heard of this kind of issue, maybe isolated case. it's better you take video showing the gear level and dashboard, together with you revving car cannot move before you go SC. Show them so they have a clearer picture of what's wrong.

QUOTE(ckdenion @ Mar 15 2015, 10:14 PM) u put to "P" after parking your car then only you pull the handbrake right ( engage to P when you stopped car > release foot brake > pull hand brake > turn engine off)? P > pull handbrake > release foot brake > off engine. How come you release foot brake then only pull handbrake? Isn't that stressing the P gear lockpin?

QUOTE(dares @ Mar 16 2015, 09:48 AM) my style D > N > pull handbrake > release footbrake > P > off engine i used to continental audi style edi (ex-family car), without foot brake it will not allow you to shift out from N, not possible to shift from N > P at all. This is safety feature for audi since they also have the "unintended acceleration" case at 1980s which manufacturer blame it's driver fault of not applying foot brake when shifting gear. so 1980s-2000s audi car will have "always apply foot brake when shifting to driving range" wording either beside gear shifter console, or display on meter cluster like C5 A6.

QUOTE(mingwei1992 @ Mar 16 2015, 08:26 AM) I guess sensor sound too soft haha Yea in sc now. Early morningmorning They reset the error for me said that if issue happen again then will have replace some sensor at gear there o.o i somehow feel it's not as easy as "resetting" per your problem description. it's some sensor wasn't able to detect at the time when you shifting gear. resetting is more likely for auto gear shifting algorithm at your driving on D range or error code only.

QUOTE(dares @ Mar 16 2015, 10:32 AM) Of all my cars....only Persona don't have brake lock on the gearknob. Even Saga also has it. then for other car how u gonna do this? "D > N > pull handbrake > release footbrake > P > off engine" You release then reapply foot brake again before shifting to P? oh yeah just found 1 of my friend will never pull handbrake unless it's on slope area and car will moves... he seems "forget" there's handbrake for use. QUOTE(ckdenion @ Mar 16 2015, 12:03 PM) follow dares suggestion...and try again c isit easy to shift out from P or not... "D > N > pull handbrake > release footbrake > press footbrake > P > off engine" ok will try and observe if the occurrence of hard shifting out from P reduced. But heck automatic gear now also need complicated "best practice"...

QUOTE(liette` @ Mar 19 2015, 12:20 AM) hey guys i just changed my rear brake pads (genuine proton parts) RM140 for the brake pad RM80 for brake calipers RM48 for 2L castrol 4dot brake fluid total cost is RM268. (labor free apparently but pretty sure they charged in the prices above already). is the price fair or i kena chopped? rear is disc brake or drum brake? disc brake last year i change genuine proton brake pad also i think around rm100, and i already complain it's expensive... why you need 2 LITRE of brake fluid? for standard 4 wheels bleeding and refill 500ML-1 LITRE should be good enough, unless your braking internal is heavily corroded so need more to flush-out? QUOTE(SoccerIsMyLife86 @ Apr 23 2015, 10:57 PM) Hello guys, Need some advice. After the heavy downpour just now in the Klang Valley, my persona sv alarm just went crazy. I can't use my alarm to lock my car and have no choice but to use key to manually lock it. Any 1 of you have any such experience? Thanks in advance. i dunno for persona, but for gen2 i've encountered twice, just need to reset it. On the fuse box next to the car battery area, find some fuse called "memory", pull it out and put it back. Please do this with all doors closed, and press the bonnet sensor so that the alarm wouldn't siren while you putting back the memory fuse. Use remote to disarm the alarm before you release the bonnet sensor.
