Security only 1 tier unlike other condo has 3-4 tiers.
Mean the place only at guard entrance only need car pass. Other place like ur lift, unit even club house no security. Not even cctv. It’s bad for million dollar place.

That was highlighted when it was launch.
Basically anyone once pass the entrance guard house can have access to any of the 20 blocks inside IoK.

And ppl from JoG can also walk / access to IoK.
And now JoG have a link bridge to the Bund where other islander can also come in via the link bridge.

Think this is the main disadvantage of IoK and JoG.

I don't think JMB can do much.
Suggested to use card access system to restrict access in each block but was told that cannot be done.
Bcos each block has 2 side entrance, car park entrance, and front entrance. No way to block these entrance with card access.

Can ... all condo the same and using Rapatica rfid tech with barrier. Anyhow it’s expensive for merely 12 units. Locking the gate with access card is good especially facilities is not lock.

Those high end units at embassy row KL did that . Matter of cost only.

I’m staying in verdi and at first I was expecting a lot more of them to move in, turn out there are minimal and I hardly see them.

On one hand the sales here is not that great but on the other hand at least the tenants here are healthy mix of every race especially a lot of local residents
