Yes, indeed. One of the BEST Gaming MKB(excluding custom MKBs, or enthusiastic MKBs, etc).
That GOLD Plated Cherry MX Switch is really good?
Other than that, it's using standard layout and also a very solid base frame.
For Gaming MKB, I think this is the BEST already, period.

I don't know. But, if it's true, then, MSI is just making huge marketing gimmicks like they always.

Still, now, we have a new recommendation choice for gaming MKB beside CM Storm Rapid-i.

Price isn't cheap. hence suggest you get switch at 1.3RMB ea better.
Lotus will order soon I guess.

Indeed a good review on the romer-G switch. thumbup.gif
Just wondering how the switch feel compared to conventional mechanical switches.  nod.gif
Thanks for sharing.

looks good but my concern is the stem.

meaning my old vintage cherry corp double shots and dye subs probably won't be romer g compatible sad.gif

albeit it does feel slightly loose on my ducky, but still usable cause it has a cherry stem. but on romer g i'm doubting it would work.

I had someone modify a keycap for me before by relocating the stem positioning to work on a modern ducky keyboard layout for the caps lock key. It didn't feel quite right (sturdy). So even a patch work job like that for a full set seems a bit .... uh..... big of a hassle xd biggrin.gif

Is there any gateron switch that comes with transparent cover?

BTW, gateron stem will fit cherry housing, correct?

I wanted the transparent cover, but translucent isn't bad either. biggrin.gif

Again my previous question, are the stems interchangeable with cherry stems?
Also I presume gateron switch top will fit cherry bottom switch housing without any problems?

I want to try linear black, but I don't want to desolder the switches tongue.gif Of course this will be on a custom plate that allows switch top removal.

Good day guys.

I'm here to seek for your advices to replace my old razer sticky keyboard, what I like about the razer is able to customize the shortcut keys for my web design tools and most importantly is the clicking sound biggrin.gif

To move on, can you guys recommend me any mechanical keyboards which allow me to change the color of the key button, short cut keys and most important is the clicking sound. My budget will be around rm500, location PJ.

Thanks folks smile.gif

Ducky Shine 4 - Highly recommended due to Ducky superior build quality. Standard Layout. Only uses RB LEDs, good enough for wide range of mixing(like Red, Purple, Pink, Blue, Magenta, Purple-Pink, Purple-Blue, etc). Cherry MX Switches(made in Germany).
Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Chroma - Not really recommended due to poor Quality Control, typical Razer. Non-Standard Layout. Using RGB LEDs, means all color capable. Kailh Switches(made in China).
Corsair Vengeance K70 RGB - Most customizable colors and settings among all these listed keyboards. Non-Standard Layout. Using RGB LEDs, means all color capable. Cherry MX Switches(made in Germany).

Thanks for the reply.

Ducky Shine 4- i like the standard layout of the keyboards, but can i change the spacebar that button?
Crosair Vengence K70 RGB- the colors are overwhelming biggrin.gif Will switch to lower profile since i'm using it in the office. And i assume the switch buttons can be change as well?

Highly recommended for Filco (Non-LED keyboard, "all quality, no gimmicks"). nod.gif

Filco Majestouch 2 TKL or Full Layout fit your budget perfectly. Although some of them maybe have around RM 400 or slightly more as price tag, you can ask for best price or discount. Should be less than RM 400 in the end.
Most of us here recommend Filco due to it's build quality.

Optionally, you can try Ducky Zero. thumbup.gif About the same thing but lower price tag.

Also, recommend you to take Vortex KBT ONI 87 TKL if still available. Comes PBT keycaps. brows.gif

i'm assuming that u meant replacing the spacebar button with other spacebar...yes. it is of standard size of 6.25u.
K70 is not really standard layout, u'll have a hard time finding replacement for the spacebar unless you replace the same keycaps from K70 or other "gaming" layout keycaps.

hmm.gif i've heard of some issue with KBT ONI quite some time ago. it has got something to do with ppl unable to fit in other spacebar into it although it is of standard layout. but if i'm not mistaken it's been long EOL.
