QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Feb 11 2015, 06:42 PM) Kailh Switches, that's a known problem I guess. different actuation point on DS4 and MJ2? have u tried typing on both of them using the same keyset? i can only guess the difference in stock keycap heigh/construction might be causing this. but then again, different overall build quality might affect the typing feel though. My previous Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Chroma is using Razer Switches(Made by Kailh), and, I have several keys double-tapping(double output) problem too. The difference of feeling for Kailh and Cherry MX is minimal. I don't feel there's a huge gap of difference between them. But, quality, you're talking about Germany vs China. LOL. Other than this, I also found out the feeling and actuation point of my Ducky Shine 4 and Filco Majestouch 2 TKL is different. Both of them are using Cherry MX Blue Switches. "with mechanical keyboard, it's all about feel" |

QUOTE(cloud8992 @ Feb 11 2015, 11:48 PM) dude your question are all very silly. 1st question you ask can change pbt after led spoil ? You just said whatever I wanna say. LOL. Indeed. LOL. you can change any keycaps even the led is not broken. leds is just lights nothing to do with keycap's fitting. 2nd of all keyboard is still keyboard no matter the brand. any defect just send to warranty.just some brands have better QC that's all even filco or ducky can have defect. if you question is CM storm Rapid-I a good keyboard it is a solid keyboard and good all round features. Some brands are having better QC. Some brands aren't, you know, Razer. CM Storm Rapid-i is one of the best and cheap LED MKB in the market now. Solid rubber finish base, and shinny white LED backlite. |

I tested them using their very own default keycaps. "with mechanical keyboard, it's all about feel" I don't think it's keycaps related. More like Cherry MX batches related. Maybe my DS4 is using Batches Cherry MX Blue Switches which have slightly stronger actuation point... Due to having harder/stronger actuation point, I like my Filco typing feel more. No need to press so hard. |

QUOTE(silrave @ Feb 12 2015, 01:06 AM) Ducky Shine 3 is usually RM 4XX generally. So, if you want a BLUE switches one, it'll probably be RM 4XX(only RED switches has the promotion). Ducky Zero Shine is RM 3XX by default. CM Storm Rapid-i is RM 3XX by default. I'll go for Rapid-i due to removable USB cable and the cable is BRAIDED. Until now, Ducky and Filco is still using generic plastic cable... and all other brands are using BRAIDED cables already. I am MAD about this!! |

QUOTE(silrave @ Feb 12 2015, 02:12 AM) You need to test a few MKBs in a row carefully, sit down, breath and type. Try typing and also gaming(imagine yourself in a game and you press stuffs you always press). Then, you'll know the "FEEL" differences. |
