Most of my gears are from US and I never been taxed so far. Get the shipper to declare he value US$150 or less and it will skip the process.

Got a quote from TTJ for US$489 bundles with a 9' Stefan AudioArt Cable.

The K702 came by my doorstep on December 04, 2008 and was suprised that the Stefan AudioArts Equinox cable that came was a 10 footer instead of what I paid for, called it an early X'mas present. Out of the box and with the stock cable, the impression on SQ was horrendous. It was so flat and thin till I replaced with the SAA Equinox cable. The changes was almost instant, vocals and highs can be clearly distinguished prior to de-virginizing the cans. Breaking in practically 10 hour a day since I have it and it sounds much well deserved. Into tube rolling now to find the ultimate tube for the RSA Raptor with the reference from Head-Fi. Got myself a pair of Mullards 12AU7 today and finding the way to like the sound.

well i got onli dt880 600ohm, hd650 and hd600 but been eyeing on akg 701 for a long time and grab it cheap when some1 offer 2nd hand
got it 2nd hand and prepared to recable it like my hd650

wow superb soundstage and great details but very flat lor imo
pair with LDmk4 se or mhm heh very musical and lively
still my mhm is under intensive care unit aiiii and upgrading process....

Among all your headphone, which one some best? how does HD600 compare to AKG701?

hd600 beats akg701 in terms of bass
akg 701 wins over hd600 over 3d soundstage and details
well akg 701 after recable will definetly shine in bass response and much easier to drive
now my best killers cans are hd650 fully modded and recable....and my all rounder dt880 600ohms

fast,punchy,deep bass and very analytical
it is not sen anymore.......and i am very happy with it's changes
no more veil at last!!!!
