I heard that the akisama management force owners to sign the vacant possession letter but don't let you check the condition of the house without signing.

some owners signed and waited 2 months but still no repairs yet.

ahhh.. shakehead.gif I dunno about that cos I am just a tenant. I think need to wait long time until they send someone to fix the plumbing, I have to temporary use my toilet basin to wash all the plates and kitchen stuff. sweat.gif

I see. No wonder. I rent the orange block 1.2k high floor klcc view. Seems quite worth with furnishing but the developer furnishing is really lousy.

Just moved in to orange block 3 days ago. Something wrong with the plumbing, kitchen area sink is clogged. Water is not draining at all and almost flooded my yard. Complained to management, no people come to fix yet. Haizz.. And the bathroom/toilet got strong sewerage smell in the day time, night time less strong.  rclxub.gif

Sewerage smell is probably u or p trap is omitted before connection to the common pipe.

If urgent sale could mean vendor can't pay bank installment, should negotiate for dead chicken price.

Phase 1 & 2 already VP for 6 months or more. The defect repair now is only for those units VP early this year, ie. phase 3.

Anyhow each phase is having different main contractors with different management teams so they are not really affecting each other. Phase 3 alone has 3 different management teams/offices, each managing 2 blocks. Just sharing.

The defects liability period that Akisama gave the owners is 24 months. if they only start to repair some houses after 6 months, the owners has only 18 months left. that's shorter than what they promised.

I heard Akisama and it's contractor/material supplier is heading for court case.... Heard they don't want to replace the defect items as claim it's not their fault as they supplied and installed non defected items... Not sure true or not.. for phase 3 owners, I think it's slowing down on certain item replacement...

I just moved in to orange block this month and found out that my neighbor next door which opposite my yard is an african couple, but they are ok, not noisy, I have no problem with them.

The noisy one is the yindian neighbor downstair (from the yard look downstair), every midnight (around 12-1am) blast yindian songs. The yindian never close his yard sliding door, every floors can hear the music. Very loud some more.

And I found out that Phase 1 has a lot of africans and iranian. I can predict the future of Parklane will be a place full of africans and foreigners.

"Full of" is how many % roughly? Or how many in terms of number, 5, 10, 100, 200? Different person has different definition of "many" or "full" wink.gif

How many percent of foreigners I dunno how to count. But if you stay at Parklane, you will see them everyday in and out, sometime a bunch of their friends will come to visit them. Quite a lot of blacks staying here already. If you want to check out, try sit at the lift lobby to observe.

Expected... without them, there will be a lot vacant units.. Owners no care about that for now. Secure the tenant is the most important thing.

I applied Symphonet already. I use Unifi 149 package last time, but here no unifi coverage yet so I try their panel internet line Symphonet 98 package. Installation is fast and most important it is cheaper and faster than Unifi. I live in high floor (>25 floor), the line is good and stable, I did speedtest everyday, average download speed 10mbps. So far no complain. You can go ahead. thumbup.gif
