We always win at home vs new. Will expect the trend to continue

With our form this season, we can't rely on past performances. (Unrelated, but speaking of past performances, i really hate how Arsenal's official FB keeps posting our glorious days of early 2000s to sidestep the issues with our club; irritating.)

Furthermore, Newcastle is on fire, and don't forget, they broke Chelsea last week. So they will come to the Emirates with good form and good spirits. Plus they are the same points with us, 23. Whoever wins this will climb on top of the other.
Worrying thing is, Newcastle are quite a physical side with pretty good pace on the counter too which is always a problem for us.

But regardless, I somehow have a good feeling too abt the match later.

Article:

"Arsene Wenger has revealed that new boy Mathieu Debuchy had just one day to learn how to play in a new position before the upcoming game against Newcastle.

The Arsenal manager has said that his defender was given 24 hours to adjust to a centre back role and is expected to start in the new position today, even though the player, who usually plays as a full back, has never played there before.

Wenger said: "Debuchy has never played there, I asked him already. The solution I have to decide will not be ideal. It will be a gamble. But there is not a massive difference between right-back and centre-back.""

Just Wenger things. wub.gif

As I said earlier, hit em early & hit em hard!

They're doing the same thing as vs Galatasaray. Good stuff.

and that Bellerin nicking the ball off that led to the goal though. (Y)

That move both selfish. Welbeck and Sanchez expecting the other to make the run first, end up both slow down and let defenders catch up.. Adoiii

hector more like winger than fb ..no wonder he is fastest in arsenal(theo should take back when he is fit or released from the emirates curse)..we have bright future on right position..coyg!

Bellerin not faster than Walcott. Walcott still the fastest in the squad. But Bellerin did broke Henry's record.
So it's Walcott > Bellerin > Henry.

Anyway, if we have are fully fit(+the loaned out players), we have 4 RBs? Debuchy, Chambers, Bellerin and Jenkinson?

Since Jenkinson is doing well at West Ham, I don't see a reason why we shouldn't recall him back for next season.

Then if that's the case, move Chambers to be a permanent CB. I feel he's much better there because he simply doesnt have enough pace to play as a RB. Much more solid as a CB. So we will have 3 core CBs, Koscielny, Per & Chambers.

Then Debuchy will be 1st choice RB with Jenkinson and Bellerin fighting for 2nd choice. Competition is good to help the players get even better.

If not, Bellerin could even play as a right winger. Do the same thing Walcott does with his pace, tear the defence and deliver good crosses.
