What Giroud did was wrong but Onouha was blatantly pushing him from the back with malicious intent. He was somewhat hoping Giroud to crash and burn onto the onrushing Green and sustain serious injury.

Just because footballer makes more than you and me doesn't mean they aren't human; doesn't have any feelings. So Giroud reaction to me was understandable. If that was me I would've done worse to Onouha.

You guys sometime are unreasonable. Kept thinking as if football player is a programmed machine.

3 points tht matter! TR7 and Sanchez was superb.

But it gonna be tough game against west ham. Chambers need to improve himself more. He cant do much with pacey flankers. Proven with previous games b4.

while I agree with you and also what the commentators said during the match about why Giroud what he did, because he just got back from a long term injury himself and for someone else to come do that to him, and because of that and the heat of the moment Giroud reacted that way..

BUT at the end of the day, they are called PROFESSIONAL footballers for a reason. So as much as I feel for Giroud, nobody and absolutely nobody can defend his act.

1)He puts his team in danger and undo all the hardwork done
2)He picks up a 3 match SUSPENSION (can go up to 5 if the FA decides to review it as violent conduct) < More so since he is on form and is so vital for Arsenal at the moment.

If we all are allowed to react however way we choose to, then any tom d*** and harry can go play football at the Emirates. and you said you would do worse? Well, that's probably why you are not playing football professionally.

What Giroud did was blatantly stupid. Period. Even he himself realised it as soon as the player went down and covered his face in shame after he 'cooled down' from the tackle and quickly ran for the tunnel.

what's with this long as$ post when abang angel admitted that giroud's action was wrong neither was he defending giroud (trying to understand one's actions doesn't mean trying to defend it). he was just pointing out what a scumbag onouha is for maliciously pushing giroud in a hope that he would get injured ala cech plus the way he fell down theatrically to the ground when giroud whispered to his face deserves to be on fallen d'floor. absolutely despicable the things that our opponents have done to our players in the past (ramsey, eduardo, fabregas, diaby) and have managed to get away with it just because we are arsenal and we are different makes me fckin sick.

Prediction:

Arsenal 1 - QPR 1

- Arsenal will have set back due to disaster performance against Liverpool
- AW would not change formation or his starting line up
- Most of all if BFG starts then game is over.

Nothing is personal. It's all abt the game.

Watching him play today makes me really miss him. At times when we are clueless we should put on tr7 because he knows how to build up play and some of his through balls are really exquisite. The epitome of arsenal football. Not just one dimensional side short back passing with no penetration.

he's damn fast and the way he dribbling .. every time he got the ball is a joy to watch.. only him has a fast counter attacking technique now... Welbeck should learn from him...that guy always move into the wrong position and let his teammate so hard to pass the ball to him...sigh

Agreeing with this.
I'm not defending Giroud's action, but I totally understand why he was frustrated with that push. Not only he was manhandled in the box, Onouha didn't even get any booking for it. His reaction wasn't even physical unless you consider a face-off as one, but Onouha totally took that chance to give Arsenal our first red card with his theatrical drop like a sack of potatoes. The referree have no choice but to give Giroud the marching order.
And this has nothing about being professional. Arsenal were playing our game the whole night and QPR has no answer to that but to play physical. Remind me a lot of Joey Barton constant harrassment playing against us last time till Diaby got sick of it...BAM!! Insta-red-card.

you can obviously tell the difference easily when a younger players play and tr7 plays. The latter is so much quicker and better and making good decisions aka higher football iq. The young lads should learn from him. Players like rosicky is like one in a million, at his peak he is unstoppable.

Obviously you are new to football. Watch last night's Chelsea & Man City game then compare it with Arsenal. That would sum up how bad Arsenal's passing & game play.

Obviously Arsenal is far away from winning the BPL this season.
