Does Maxis accept credit card to purchase the iphone at their centres? If yes, are there any extra charges?
For maxis centers Accept credit card - Yes
Extra charges - No
Not sure about their dealers though.

QUOTE(voneee @ Nov 19 2015, 05:59 PM) Need advice.... If your credit card has been charged, print a screenshot of that transaction, go to a Maxis centre nearest to you and give them hell. I bought the iphone 6s from maxis online store, supposed to shipped out on 17th nov. but i never received any shipping no. only confirmation email... so kept calling them for 3 days dy and they keep saying under investigation, no proof of order.... what should i do? Well, that's what I would do |

Just to add, the One plan 128 (3GB) not entitled for the iPhone 6S Zerolution, so you're looking at 158 (5GB) minimum. That's RM100 (Phone Commitment) + RM20 (Zerolution Upgrade) + RM158 (Monthly Usage Commitment) = RM278.00 + 6% GST monthly.
Conclusion: Buy from Apple online. |

QUOTE(crusher @ Jan 9 2016, 06:30 PM) Guys, if my iphone 6S jatuh masuk into the water, maxis sure void the warranty right? Then do they still accept 1 to 1 change with lower price? Eg RM1100 for it I think all resellers and telcos sure void warranty for water damage. They will charge but I don't know how much - depends on your model and capacity. |

QUOTE(dino89 @ Jan 10 2016, 11:22 PM) Sorry, but I happened to be at Maxis centre today and I saw a notice stating "Starting from 1st January 2016, Maxis does not provide after sale services for iPhones, you have to go to AASP (Authorised Apple Service Provider) for after sales service" - or something along the lines. Well, that's fine as long as the AASPs don't reject us when we go there - had a friend previously who bought his 5S from a telco and was told by the AASP to go back to the telco when the phone was faulty. But I think it's wise that telcos don't provide after sales support. It's not their core business and in most cases they don't have the capability anyway. So i guess Maxis does not do warranty claims anymore? |

QUOTE(kcng @ Jan 19 2016, 11:28 AM) question, Usually if you are a postpaid customer and have good payment record, they will waive the upfront payment for a regular contract. However, if you are talking about the Maxis Zerolution Plan, then there is definitely no upfront payment - just a monthly commitment for the device + the plan of your choice. And I am pretty sure they can let you keep your prepaid number and switch it to postpaid.my sis is running prepaid and can i convert it to post-paid for iphone package? the maxis one diagram shown on the first page shows that there is zero upfront payment for iphone... still valid? i checked the maxis website and the way the diagram is show is quite vague... |
