if their cs is not fully equipped with all those q&a from customer better don't put up such a page.. pissed people off only. they think their penalty is cheap? ishh.. really bloodsucker if they really use this tactic to prevent existing customer to continue. just like what celcom did on their pre ordered of n7 (apply to new customer & port in only but not existing). i straight shoot the cs, if maxis not allowed then fine. i just bought outright from apple and terminate maxis after contact end 
that's why i talk to them la.. if you say contract left more than 6 months it's acceptable that they penalty you or whatsoever. but mine only left weeks or days perhaps as not sure when is their launching date.. duh

I used to shoot at the CS a lot last time and only realised that it isn't the best way. I get angry, and I probably ruined the CS's day as well. Nowadays I just treat them extra nice and I get most of the waivers off, as well as they take the extra effort to help me. For example when the iPhone 6 Plus came out, the CS guy helped me call around 4-5 Maxis branches to help me find the availability of the 64Gb model and then helped me lock in the unit. I went over to the TTDI branch and all was well. Patience does help

I guess its part of the strategy of not allowing people to have much time to calculate the cost before deciding which plan to take as some or many would rush into getting the phones before stock runs out

Guys if I'm on MOP98 (previously converted from Ivalue1), and if I am not planning to get any ip7 contract this time, will I get to continue with MOP98 till I decide to get a new contract maybe 1-2 years later?

obviously. maxis is dead. long dead. as a maxis user, i will stick my RM68 discounted 98plan, and buy it from machine. and i dont care if its out of stock, because the previous iphone 6s+ works perfectly fine. will only just wait till it restock maybe next year because there is no urgency. i would rather spend to something like GoPro Karma or DJI Mavic first.

Yeah both my dad and my sister were those that jumped to Digi. Now they are both under my Maxis One Plan shared line, RM48 for 5Gb data for each of them. Real good deal.

let say RRP is 3699 (with GST), upfront cost is 2559 (with GST), and finish 3 months contract
(3699 - 2560) x (21 / 24) + 100 = 1097

2559 + 1097 = RM3656 (around RM43 off from RRP)
looks like whoever already using MOP128, is worth after 3 months
