There's also a few more concepts to minimise the turbo lag as well.

Twin-scroll where you need equal length headers.
Variable Geometry (Currently only Diesel engines are using this tech like Triton's VNT)

Not just bang bang bang lol.

Or just supercharge so you get low to low mid end boost.

twin scroll = evo x
supercharge = VW TSI engines

ngam mou?

Something like that. The older Golf TSIs (MK6 I think) are twin-charged so it means supercharger + turbo.

Think all modern petrol cars which are turbocharged are using twin-scroll unless it's running super high boost then twin scroll not applicable for them usually.

Reliable? Go back a few pages and read on clutch issue/CVT overheat issue and also timing chain issue.

Many issue same quantity as the tissue in one box of tissue.

And this car is a Proton not Mitsubishi, Campro engine not MIVEC. Want Japanese then buy Vios.

Vios also now have Keyless Entry + Push Start. Yengness factor unlimited liao.

But in all seriousness, this car even though you got budget to buy you need to look at the spareparts list in the first page. Because it's not cheap to maintain this car if something goes wrong, and something WILL go wrong lol.

QUOTE(gbsaint @ Jan 15 2015, 08:23 PM)
My car got knocking sound after i change to 2.0 with high comp piston. The knocking was apparent at 2-3k on acceleration during 2nd gear and at high speed around 200kph.

I searched around and asked around, noted the sound is like ticking sound. So i thought it might be a 'lifter tick'

Then i tried using this stuff. I used the engine flush prior to oil change and added the hydrolic lifter additive later.

Wallaaaaa. The sound is now gone at 2k and no more knocking/ticking sound. But i have yet to test it at 200kph.

Hope it might help u bro smile.gif

How does your knock sounds like? Mine is super super constant and I'm afraid it's not knocking but another more sinister problem because I just searched Youtube for this :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvxhKIx26gY

Notice the chug chug chug sound like a train. Sounds almost the same as mine from the outside if you listen to it from the engine bay.

Here's a video of my idling. Notice the faint chugging sound amid the noisy diesel lorry cracking.

The chug noise is there in Quazacolt's video but for yours it's hard to tell whether it's there or not.

Not tappet noise I think since it's not ticking like a pen.

Unfortunately I can't pick it up on the inside on video but if you turn off the aircond and radio you can hear it inside the car with door closed without all the diesel noise from the engine.
