the card itself is RM10 if buy at tng

yeah, think about it, actually tesco has invested a lot, say rm10(card cost)+rm5(credit value)+rm2.50(discount coupon) for every clubcard customer.

went to Tesco @ IOI City Mall.

some details about the new Tesco Clubcard+TnG:

1) new Tesco Clubcard+TnG can be used for payment (terminals only at counter 4 & 10) but reload at sevice counter (near entrance).

2) TnG payment/reload services are not ready, yet. Official launch (i guess for this outlet) on 8-Dec, ready service on 9-Dec (or possibly on the 8th too).

3) Cash reload only. Credit card reload not allowed. Didnt ask about Tesco Cash Vouchers.

4) I asked if reload (no svc charge) can be to any TNG cards or specific to the new Clubcard+TnG. Got 2 conflicting answers  rclxub.gif: 1st officer said only allow reload to new clubcard+tng (other tng cards not allowed). 2nd officer said any TnG cards can be reloaded there.

didnt't probe much, will try again on my next visit.  sweat.gif

yes, tesco accept cc to buy cash vouchers. this is a workaround in case tesco doesnt allow direct cc reload to tng.

a bit troublesome if each outlet has different policy / inconsistent business rules.

so now you can confirm that once you achieved rm100 you no longer collecting points right? it's either points or cash rebate, can't be both.

yea well this is the first time I hit RM100 and got 5% rebate.

usually I spend less than RM80 per mth on tolls and hence get the 1% points accumulation rebates.

the problem is you can't dispute a transaction. meaning that if you lost your card and it was used for certain transactions, you can only get back the unused balance. so if you don't realise immediately (that you lost your card), your balance can become 0 within a day.

Lost my card and realised it next day, at first thought total lost, then went to T&G website and after that managed to find out balance still intact & quickly blocked the card. Still waiting for them to credit the balance into my bank acc. Processing fee rm10 and need to get a new card, another rm10.

There is difference between TnG card and Plusmiles card.

When I enquire through plusmiles careline on the TnG stuff, they ask me to refer to TnG.

Not sure what is the plusmiles CS for as 10 out of 10 question I ask they also dunno.

of course, it's like you ask watson or tesco about tng questions. they only know better about watson or tesco or plusmiles rewarding system (rather than tng) because they are just co-brand tng card.

I just bought one at Tesco Kepong, there isnt any balance in the card, but it comes with a pile of vouchers though.
And, the kakak there accepts credit card reload
