QUOTE(alexei @ May 23 2015, 09:52 PM) That means your turbo can't spool properly, and no boost. Any other symptom? The hose from air filter box there that connected to the turbo inlet(before the turbo). It cracks at the end of the hose. Means, unfiltered air can pass into the turbo from the open leak
Some said proton already remake this hose into another material or make it more flexible, I will personally go to Proton parts centre @ glenmarie next monday to buy the new one and confirm with them if there any changes made compare to old one. Warrranty period over, so have to use own Also today found out my air filter clog with insects, dry leaves and dust. No wonder feel less power. EDIT: also found leaks around rocker cover/cam cover there, so gasket need to be replaced also Mileage : 59k km This post has been edited by arza04: May 23 2015, 10:40 PM

QUOTE(tehsarbat @ May 24 2015, 12:16 PM) wow. this is pretty bad for a new car. mines seems looking good.. also no sign of crack to the turbo hose going to the air filter unit. I'm unlucky perhaps, few preve owner at facebook also had change this cam cover gasket before. but I'm still enjoying my EB, ride is so awesome but somehow i notice my fc is higher compare to when it was less than 30k km. FC meter currently ranging from 12.3-12.6 last time use to be 11.2-11.x perhaps after 60k km major service fc will drop back to normal due to new spark plugs, fresh cvt oil, new air filter, and 10w30 eo

QUOTE(alexei @ May 25 2015, 08:54 PM) thanks arza04How does it compare, in terms of appearance, to the older version? Mine is like shiny plastic. Any update on brake pads? I checked online, and it seems that my brake pads are considerably new, like the one in the left below. That's still a long way to go, if worn brake pads are supposed to look like the right one. looks the same but more flexible and a bit thicker

QUOTE(tsg_7 @ Nov 10 2015, 02:03 PM) Hi guys, how about the stability on high speed >140kmh and roll body over? 140km/h in EB is just nice and stable. 140 is my cruising speed, rpm about 3k Body roll quite high for me but i think its acceptable for a mpv. I dont drive fast in corner with this EB. But maybe thats just me coz my daily is satria neo/wira which has good body roll.

QUOTE(ajaibman @ Dec 7 2015, 02:11 PM) Your spark plug can last for 100k as CFE engine use Irridium plug as standard. Cant say much about the CVT oil and CVT trans oil filter. Can last up to 100k km. My EB 65k km rite now and 70% of the time need to crank twice and long to start the engine. Hope it last until 80k

QUOTE(ajaibman @ Dec 7 2015, 09:16 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « When to change spark plugs: 1. Engine has a rough idle
Your engine idles when it is a stationary and in this position the engine normally produces around 1000rpm. The sound the engine gives off is constant and smooth but if your spark plugs aren’t performing as they should, your engine will produce a rough and jittery sound while producing larger vibrations through the car. Not having this checked can lead to costly damage being done. 2. Having trouble starting your car?
Many people put their car not starting down to being out of fuel or having a flat battery. One possibility you may overlook is having bad or worn spark plugs. If your spark plugs don’t produce the spark needed to get the vehicle moving, then you’re going nowhere. It is also possible that faulty spark plugs are causing your battery to drain. If so you need to have your battery and spark plugs changed as soon as possible. 3. Your engine misfires
When your engine misfires it causes the vehicle to halt for a fraction of a second and then continues it’s usual movement. This means the vehicle isn’t functioning as smoothly as it should because one or more cylinders aren’t firing properly, which can also lead to higher amounts of emissions. 4. Engine surging
When a vehicle sucks in more air than usual in the combustion process it can cause the vehicle to jerk and then slow down or continually start and stop, which means the vehicles engine is working inefficiently. This is also known as engine hesitation and dangerous situation can arise if this occurs in traffic. 5. High fuel consumption
If your spark plugs have deteriorated you’ll notice that your vehicles fuel economy can decrease by up to 30% due to incomplete combustion. If you notice you’re having to fill up more often than usual it can be caused by deteriorating spark plugs. To get back to your vehicle’s optimum level of fuel consumption all you’ll need to do is have your spark plugs changed. 6. Lack of acceleration
If your vehicle is accelerating poorly it is fairly easy to tell. It feels as if the vehicle doesn’t want to respond when you put your foot down, or it does but not instantly as you’ve become accustomed to. It can also feel as if your vehicle is trying really hard to pull itself along. This ‘sluggishness’ can be easily fixed by having the vehicle serviced with a spark plug change. Out of 6, only two symptoms i experience 2 & 5. Idle maybe rough but not so noticeable Anyone here knows where to get cheap supplies for spark plug can share here
