BTW ppl of Yeti.I have a guild which I just made to communicate with frens.But many of em have stop.So I was thinkin we lyn ppl should gather in one guild.I think some of u have seen my pink emblem CrashHeadBunnies guild It'll be cool if u all could join me.

But of course if you're happy with ur current guild n unwilling to move,dont wry bout it.I understand that if you're in an established guild and not wanting to join a guild with hardly anyone in it lol.But it's just a suggestion

If eventually no one joins,Ill disband the guild in time,since it's pretty much pointless with my frens stoppin n all

i am not very sure about it maybe the other know, i just started playing yesterday and my chracter is only lvl 19 at the moment , only thing is i cant find a party... and its quite boring alone all the way

I can agree to this since I plan to reroll anew after Epic III and my only suggestions is for you (or rather, those who'd willing to join?) to vote for a new 'home' game server other than Tortus. Honestly I couldn't care less if it's gonna be Pantera but since the current PvP rulesets are nerfed and there's no point (territorial, economic, political and social risks : rewards for guild wars) to even try that server so far. Plus I'm looking and I agree to gather the more casual players (NON-hardcores) under one guild, so we can just have a clique to 'lepak' and have fun at it in-game.

Let's see if other new LYN Rappelz' lowbies can agree to this.

Well from my experience, being in a strong active hardcore guild is really painful.

Not only time is spent into the game a lot, but the commitment that you need to put in. IS not fun at all seing ur guild mate having fun in the time attack or seige attack while you cant do much to help since you are low level. (Yeah lvl 50 in my guild is very low!).

That is why, if you plan to play casually, join eq8all, in what ever server is going to play, as he is more experience than most of the new guys out there... At least you wont get lost.

But to tell the truth, you will going to miss lot of fun if you are being slow (I don't like to agree to this but is true). All you do now is missions and quest, and when you get to 40+, all you do is grind and grind in the dungeon. Pretty standard if you want to get fast exp. So be prepare to fce what the truth in the game.

So far what i see for end game is most probably the dungeon time attack (where you take down several strong boss in a 2 party 16 players formation, in a litmited time), then the seige war where you compete against other guilds (which complete the time attack in the dungeon earlier), to own the dungeon for a week.

PvP seem ok to me but not that crucial for the the end game features. There is no guilds war so far nor any guilds between guild fight. Maybe in event later, we do not know.

And for those who are eager for the epic 3, i got the video footages of the epic 3 from one of our guild members (a GM who test for epic 3), but i cant post here, guild copy right problem ,lol. But i can tell you, the attack speed is almost 1.5X faster than now, and the damage is slightly higher too. And I see is much easier to solo now that before, depending on your class. Hope is going to rock....

All we hope now is the 2nd job btw, which is forcasted to be released soon. So stay tune for more info

may i knoe is it this game will start at 20th dec? coz i install the wat latest client seems the start button cannot press 1.. 1.6gb client omg..

Which is precisely what I'm jaded of... In any case, I believe that casuals should have an almost equal footing (in gaining fun, in own pace) in whatever there is to be gained and being able to contribute in any manner in one guild that can accommodate players like us, will help to achieve that. And as for hints, my preferred choice of game server for this particular purpose is Lydian.



Some would call this 'raiding'. The elements for the dungeon siege time attacks are in fact an accurate, blow for blow features of one. From my own personal view, the end game should have been more varied. More so on the 'journey' to that end-game. Not to poop anyone's party but this subject seems to be the core debate in a lot of MMORPGs' related forums as to why WoW can't seem to retain longer term players, as raiding is deemed as WoW's ultimate Achilles' heel. In fact, I'm willing to bet that there's significant amount of ex-WoW players in-game on Rappelz right now. And contents-wise, this is ALREADY a major concern since most players would concern themselves with the 'journey' instead of the 'end-game'.



For starters, I wouldn't even start to compare this to a p2p title with an average of 6.5 -> 7 million active subcribers as its player base o.O? But to be clear, I've seen scores of ex-WoW players (mature ones..not kiddies) in a broad range of F2P titles. Plus WoW's 'mandatory' raiding is the order of the day at higher levels, so why pay for that when you can get the same (if not, almost) experience for free?

The stated 20th Dec could be 21st for us Malaysians, so make sure (if you can) that the necessary game client is downloaded completely before that. Hell LOL it took me 9 hours to finish the damn thing 2 days ago.

Was actually thinkin of disbanding the guild earlier on (made it to communicate,but most frens stopped already,plus havent been recruitin,I thought the guild was gettin pretty pointless) but if a few of you wanna reroll in Yeti,I'll be glad to keep the guild up and runnin for casual play

Yup that's definately true,but some of us as much as we would like to be up there,just don't have the time

As for enjoying the in game event, its actually kind of hard for those which in asian time zone that participate in the game, as most of the in game events was held base on US time zone. Had attended once the what dark knight event or some sort of things which is around 5am in the morning for us I dont think this will motivate me for long run as I had to force myself to sleep early and wake up early just to play a few hours online game. Therefore I had actually froze my holy warrior for almost a month already. Well untill I had better connection in game during evening time, this game wont be in my major list for the moment.

luckly i download the clent.. but now cannot play.. need to wait 21th ? haih.. boring holidays.. the server exp rates ok or not? fast or normal? lik maple slow?

Let me repost some of the updates/fixes coming for Epic III:-
Under 'Gameplay Changes';
* The attack speed of all players have increased.
-Attack speed of weapons has been increased.
-Attack speed of monsters has been increased to balance the changes.

* Some skills have had their cast time reduced.

* Attack power of some weapons has been increased.

* Base Crit Rate increased from 3% to 6%.

* 3 Crit Rule added. After a player crits the next 2 attacks have a higher chance to crit.

* Prices of all weapons and armor has been lowered.
-Upgrade prices by blacksmiths has been reduced.

* EXP and JP rates have been significantly increased.

So yes, there will be significant EXP and JP rates' increase. All of the above translates into a smoother and a bit faster gains for players as compared to now. We'll deal better dmgs with the increased atk spds & weaps atk power, cooldown times for skills are lowered so that means better timings for skill spamming if possible. 3 crit rules enables us to have higher chances for better mobs' finishing.

But the real gains 'deal maker' would still be to group or party. At least, that's how I see the reason for the current grind factor's design.

I just started to play like 1-2 weeks and completely no idea wat im doing...
Other than bashing mobs and doing stupid quest...
