QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Nov 27 2014, 12:17 PM) Just put only. Probably not buying already. Haha! Same here. I'm intrigued with the Nexus 6 too since Lollipop is awesome on my Nexus 5! I'm quite disappointed that Samsung had to put the Exynos in Note 4 for Malaysia set. Sigh. Seems that the SD sets which USA reviewers have give awesome battery life, just by looking at GSMArena ratings will tell. Now I can't even use the Note 4 as my daily driver without bringing out my PowerBank. This post has been edited by shockk: Nov 27 2014, 12:26 PM

QUOTE(Xirality @ Nov 27 2014, 11:22 AM) Use it for quick snap thenĀ You using Note 4 as daily driver now? Bro, Daily driver is my iPhone 6 Plus, secondary line using Note 4. Note 4 performance is quite poor (even my Nexus 5 is faster than it). Sadly, I attribute this to the inferior Exynos chipset which Malaysian sets have compared to the Snapdragon version which USA has. This post has been edited by shockk: Nov 27 2014, 12:24 PM

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 27 2014, 11:32 AM) I have both Note4 and ip6+ Generally the ip6+ is simply an overpriced n over exaggerated phone. Its only major advantage over Note4 is its insanely greater battery life of approximately double that of Note4 Other minor advantages of ip6+ is its slightly better audio n sunlight viewing. Overall I prefer Note4 as daily phone The closed file system of ip6 is very restrictive n thus make it a bad business phone. Those who does lots of email w attachments n sharing of stuffs will simply hate it Yes i tend to use note 4 a lot and iphone 6+ is just more a larger iphone to me. I do game more on iphone 6 plus lol.

You mean all Malaysian sets are not using the Snapdragon version? If we get the Snapdragon version, can it be used in here?

I'm temporally using CDMA version. CDMA version only have 3G working.

If we get the Snapdragon version, can it be used in here? SnapDragon version has higher clockspeed and SoC cores which allow much better battery management, and also better performance (when required by apps). Also, it has superior Graphics chipset so gaming on the SnapDragon version is far better than on the Exynos. The only good thing about Exynos is that it is 64-bit compliant, so it is more future-proof.

QUOTE(Reader2008 @ Nov 27 2014, 12:41 PM) normal (Exynos and S805). Any idea whats the main difference? Is S805 alot faster? It's difficult to find big review sites benchmarking and testing the Exynos version cause Samsung is smart since they give USA only the faster SnapDragon versions. Majority of big review sites are USA-based so you would only see S805 version reviews. But Exynos (which is likely cheaper to produce) goes to the majority of other countries.

Unless Samsung is an idiot company who put 2 different chips with huge difference in terms of performance / batt life, the difference between the 2 shouldn't be too big. After all both devices are marketed under 1 product name.
Korea is using the exy version as well.

Ahh dang, does it apply to other phones too? Different version in different countries, like HTC one M8 / Nexus 6 / Moto X?

But right now, even the Note 3 seems to have better battery life than the Note 4.

If you don't mind the LTE, then you can unlock it to use it in Malaysia. I just unlocked 3 Sprint phones (this note 4 and 2 htc one m8 Harman kardon edition) and both my u mobile and maxis sim are working flawless albeit there is no LTE.
