• The LED is a real LED at cover, Samsung didn't use HTC idea reflect from screen light. Check my screenshot above where it show the light source not from the amoled screen.
• The LED is real cool showing calling notification, miss call notification, message notification & misc notification. All animated.
• Pressing the power button also showing the time with animation.
• When charging showing battery with % indicator.
• Alarm clock notification when alarm.
• Animation when listen song.
• All notification is preset and cannot modified or control as no apps bundle with it.
• Only can show notification but you can't swipe to answer call or dismiss notification like what HTC did.

hi all.. i'm on holiday and i'm bored, so i want to root my Note 4..

hope u guys don't mind to give a few advise before i proceed.. pardon my laziness to search online, i just want to ensure i get correct exact information without juggling with internet junks, so i think this is the best forum to get it..

the main thing i want to ask is, is it ok to perform the rooting and flashing process on Macbook (boot on Win)? anyone use Mac to do theirs' without any issue? I'm a bit wary about Apple's allergies to DOS system and it might complicates things.

oh ya another things, current rooting process will definitely trigger knox and no way to avoid it, is it right?..

I am rooting using mac for many years. PD user here and it work as it should be. Rooting Samsung is very easy as no bootloader to take care of. Knox is definitely x 1. Follow the cf root method and you will be alright. Just remember to backup EFS once rooted then you are good.

i'm not doing much flash/root for quite long time already, so i may be very outdated. lol... i remember long time ago when using my mac sometime got problem communicating through ADB bridge, and some minor glitches.. so ever since then i always use my office PC to perform those flashing/rooting stuffs.. but now at home no Win PC to use, have to use Mac..

Updated to the latest firmware yesterday. This morning have some Wifi Issue. Even it shows connected to wifi but my apps cant run it online... Wechat/Whatsapp hardly connected. 3g/LTE seems disconnected also. Need restart my phone only can it can function properly.

About phone reception on my Note 4 near Kepong Area(Desa Park & Villa Manja), and Setia Eco Park, I change my telco from U Mobile to Maxis One Plan, and problem solved. In my house, usually have no bar, now have 1 or 2 bars, random, which I can still pick up some calls.

After using the Note 4 for more than 2 months already, so far so good. Camera is definitely a PLUS+. Call quality is OK for me, sound quality, definitely better than Note 3 and comparing to Note 2, I prefer Note 4 still. Used SPen and SNote a lot for my work SUPER USEFUL. Battery life, seems ok to me after comparing with my old Note 2 which already aged 2+. Charing speed is a bit too fast... Seems too hard to believe that is it really fully charged???? Battery life is up and down for me, due to leaving my phone unplug and use it out door a lot together with power bank. Last about 7-9 hours usage(10+ phone calls, Web Browsing, Camera, Supercell games & Messenging) Sometimes feels like the battery is bad, maybe bcoz of the updates?

I hate the aluminium frame. I got it since release, that time got no Spigen case, only cheapo case and Sammy 1, so decided to wait. Then, got micro scratches at aluminium frame, DANG. Now I'm using Spigen Neo Hybrid Case, 2 thumbs UP!

I give Note 4 8.6/10.

May I know what is the model series of note 4 we will get locally from telco or Samsung Malaysia? We are getting the Qualcomm Snapdragon version or Exynos version? Thanks guy

I believe all Samsung Store is selling it. I get at RM 191 (Special promotion as the shop promise me last time due to I didn't get the promotion on the Gear S where I buy one day before the promotion start).
