Sorry a quick question, note 4 with touchwiz still give user lag experience? also from launching camera apps and open gallery will there be a very big delay? Note 4 is a great phone, just I personally cannot take lag issues that much tho.

You must be using some cheapo Memory Card on your expandable memory Smartphone in the past. whistling.gif

Anyway, I don't owned one, but I tested the demo, this is the best looking Note series. And as well, the display is gorgeous. Lauch the camera very quick as well. smile.gif

Maybe Samsung touchwiz give all the sluggishness. lol

For open gallery, there are a few factors that cause lag or delay....you cannot blame the phone and touchwiz... there will slightly delay if
a. You have A LOT of pictures
b. Your pictures saved at SD card

I notice that when in camera app, switch to gallery to preview photo that are just taken 13mp will delay..i believe it is because the photo size too big..if I reduce to 8mp, should be no delay..

Above is my experience when using note 3...sorry for non related answer

Thanks for the reply, I am just thinking which flagship smartphone to get for CNY present for myself. Been considering every corner of every smartphone out there already still can't make up my mind. lol

Same boat, lol!! I've been looking at the flagships to try and pick one. All have pros and cons.

One more consideration is that android 5.1 is expected to be out in Feb/March 2015... which is right around the time you can expect the next batch of flagship phones (running on 64bit CPU i.e. Qualcomm Snapdragon 810) to be announced and maybe released.

If you wait 3-4 months, you'll probably be able to get a phone with a 64bit processor, android 5.1 out of the box, and possibly 4GB ram tongue.gif
*
Ya, smartphone tech advances beyond our wallet capability. lol! I am guessing the first android 64 bit architecture will be HTC since they normally announce their flagship at MWC. And the first quad core smartphone also belonged to them, so well who knows. The problem is can't wait any longer ! haha

I have the same thought before I bought note4.
So I benchmarked  with my friend's note3. It's been a year and going but only one time the phone lagged. Other than that he's still a happy boy with his note3 thus I bought note4 cause I'll expect the same to flagship samsungs.

My iPhone lasted me for 3 years until I switched to htc one for 1 year then now note4.

So note 4 so far so good? Buying a smartphone nowadays is even harder than choosing a wife. LOL!

if u r already an android user,n4 should be perfectly fine for you. unless u switched from ios, cause a lot ios who switch to android complains that android lag this and that but to me its user prob more than device prob. tongue.gif
*
Totally agreed, I just talk with my friend who switched to note 4 from IPhone. And hell she dislike note 4 every single corner, she said she was regretted to get note 4. She seem like so fed up with that phone. lol. One of the reason is the lag tho. Ya I am previously android user HTC ONE X. I think so too, when IOS user come to android they always come with the set of mind that "This piece of thing will lag", and eventually it will. None of the smartphone nowadays is perfect tho, Android get lag, IOS get bug. So, hard time decision.

Lol note 4 still new, the price won't get cheap till where tho. Haha, btw a quick question, any note 4 user can use kuaibo to watch videos/movies? Because seem like her other concern is note 4 cannot use to watch movies/dramas through that app.

Updated to the latest firmware yesterday. This morning have some Wifi Issue. Even it shows connected to wifi but my apps cant run it online... Wechat/Whatsapp hardly connected. 3g/LTE seems disconnected also. Need restart my phone only can it can function properly.

About phone reception on my Note 4 near Kepong Area(Desa Park & Villa Manja), and Setia Eco Park, I change my telco from U Mobile to Maxis One Plan, and problem solved. In my house, usually have no bar, now have 1 or 2 bars, random, which I can still pick up some calls.

After using the Note 4 for more than 2 months already, so far so good. Camera is definitely a PLUS+. Call quality is OK for me, sound quality, definitely better than Note 3 and comparing to Note 2, I prefer Note 4 still. Used SPen and SNote a lot for my work  rclxm9.gif SUPER USEFUL. Battery life, seems ok to me after comparing with my old Note 2 which already aged 2+. Charing speed is a bit too fast... Seems too hard to believe that is it really fully charged???? Battery life is up and down for me, due to leaving my phone unplug and use it out door a lot together with power bank. Last about 7-9 hours usage(10+ phone calls, Web Browsing, Camera, Supercell games & Messenging) Sometimes feels like the battery is bad, maybe bcoz of the updates?

I hate the aluminium frame. I got it since release, that time got no Spigen case, only cheapo case and Sammy 1, so decided to wait. Then, got micro scratches at aluminium frame, DANG. Now I'm using Spigen Neo Hybrid Case, 2 thumbs UP!  thumbup.gif

I give Note 4 8.6/10.  hmm.gif

Where it goes another 1.4/10? hahaha What's the issue note 4 cannot score beyond 9/10 for your case?

EXynos version...
SnapDragon version only if you're buying from SG.

For sure all Malaysia note 4 is N910C Exynos version? I read some reviews saying Exynos is better than Snapdragon, is it true? Btw, how to check our phone is Exynos or Snapdragon? Exynos is Octa-core (1.9 Ghz) vs Snapdragon Quad-core (2.7Ghz) and the is Exynos 5433 64 bit architecture chip?

Exynos is 64 bit, but Samsung locked it to 32 bit before releasing 5.0 (ive read somewhere but forgot where)
Mine is Exynos version and no issues so far, loving my phone
It's damn good, depending on each user as each user's needs are different from one another.
For me I don't have complaints about it, gaming is good, no overheat issue, no lag, nothing
Exynos or Snapdragon is up to personal preferences anyways...

Just my two cents
*
I just check with Samsung Malaysia website, we are getting the N910C clocked at 1.9Ghz, 1.3 GHz Octacore, so I think all are Exynos version. I guess all telco give same variant as well then. Not sure 5.0 Lollipop will utilise the 64 bit chip instead of just working in 32 bit or not.
