QUOTE(JYwang @ Jan 26 2015, 11:13 PM) Hey guys, can anyone help shed some light on this? This is the consequences of playing phone while driving on the road. At least Honda HU now keep silent to ensure safety come first. 40km/h sound is common each time you start the vehicle.I just got my car today. When I excitedly drove it out of the sales office and got to the first traffic light, I plugged in my iPhone to the usb. Then, there was a notification that popped up on my phone that read something like "your phone is now connected to the car. Would you like the car to control/make changes to your phone? (With the option of yes and not now)" The traffic light turned green quick so I only had a quick glance and I hit the 'not now' or 'no' response, thinking that I can take my time to slowly go through it later when I get back home. However, it seems that aside from the first time connecting my phone, that notification has not popped up again. Even connecting other people's iphone there was no such notification. Actually by now I am starting to doubt my own mind and sanity and am not sure if the notification showed up on the phone or on the car's HU. Please help. Desperately need your advices. Also, I thought the 40km/h mechanical sound was a one time thing, but I am hearing it every time I make a new trip and pass the 40km/h mark. |

QUOTE(sadcity @ Jan 27 2015, 11:20 AM) 1) Stop car at traffic light, suddenly the engine die off. Encounter these issue for 3 times. My advise is you drive your car to the nearest temple to pray for it. Suspect some anonymous done something to your car. 2) driving back from johor to kota tinggi, suddenly the car "chok chok ", losing power, and the engine die off during driving. Try to start back, but die off immediately. Tow back to service centre, and can start again. 3) during speeding or low speed (60 km / j) , sometime the car "chok chok ". Some time I feel that the car got power, sometime really low power . The worst thing is, there is no error code when checking using Computer. Any advice ? |

QUOTE(bearbearwong @ Jan 28 2015, 08:55 AM) see the tricky part is like this about HIP insurance... first of all it is different from any comprehensive insurance... If buy car always think on selling the car in next couple of years. Better keep the money in bank to earn interest.HIP (honda) - pays you on 100% on insured sum (based on agreed value) other type - pays you on market value Honda did say 1st year -100% 2nd year -100% 3rd year-100% 4th year -100% 5th year- 100% 100% on insured sum... so take a look at the insurance policy for instance E spec...selling price 83800... sum insured 81k .. 81k sum insured is or 1 st year.... they pay 100%, 1st year - 100% sum insured ( pay off 81k) 2nd year -100% sum insured ( now no longer 81 k, car depreciate one year older.. maybe 75k) 3rd year- 100% and goes on.. even thou the sum insured is 100% which is better than any insurance... still the sum insured value drops every year..and this is what they mean t by 100% sum insured.. based on insured sum which drops yearly.. now on the interest part with the bank, try inserting details on this accordingly.. there will be discounts http://www.autoworld.com.my/v2/tools/loan_settlement.asp but as you pay/service more bank loans, you will rugi ...take instance E spec 83800, deposit 10% = 8.38k, loan amount 83800-8380=75420 .. around 76k loan sum, 2.6 interest 9 years around 868 per month based on calculator.. if you paid 6 months of loans, and you full settle/insurance pay, insurance cover 76k enough to cover 1st year, but 2nd year onwards coverage lower.. say insurance enough to cover bank loans, you still lose 10% deposit around 8380 ( many got discounts 4k, 3k),license, plat numbers, tinting, locks upgrading.. ( maybe around 3k) so total lost will be 4k deposit (after discount) + upgrading 3k = 7k..i saw there are surplus in the sum insured..but whether insurance will pay back us? no idea.. since it is only 3k.. but for those paid large deposits... like 20k to 30k... insurance say after paying bank, surplus will refund.. hope it helps |

QUOTE(Ivan113 @ Feb 2 2015, 07:53 PM) hello guys, I own a Honda City 2014 S+ version, may I ask that is it possible to purchase parts to install the side mirrors with turning lights? It is a waste of money for purchasing the side mirror turning signal. Earlier should take E spec and issue resolved.edit: and also a power retractable folding side mirrors |

QUOTE(siamanggagap @ Feb 4 2015, 12:45 PM) this is the main reason i do not discuss any topic related to security while goes online. i only discuss about it TT session with close friend. i've joined a few car clubs & from my experience most of the members ride in our club get stolen bcoz they discuss about it in public. add extra security especially the security stuff that not using electronic, but do not show to anybody. no picture or a honest but stupid statement. Whichever security system also the same. It is all depends on your luck of the day. If people want to steal your car, even with your existence also can steal directly from you. |
