I promise this battery is 100% can be done now! And customers feedback it last around 3 per charge hours just after done.

Some time the notebook won't charge the battery again if you have put a faulty battery inside for long period.

Mostly can, have to try first, some manufacturer can not, if success will have run time around 118% compare to your original. If your original last 3hours, it will last 3hours30minutes (compare is made to reference 4400mAH). If your original last 4hours, it will last 4hours40minutes. The different is more significant in some 4000mAH battery.

Added on February 14, 2009, 5:14 pmThis battery is IBM hybrid battery architecture, operate voltage is from 9V to 16.8V, it is a 7cells battery, sorry I don't have the cell needed for this battery. It is using the highest capacity available at the moment it is built, so definitely not room for any upgrade can be done.

I can modify it to higher capacity, but I never try because Fujitsu battery is not SBS(smart battery specification) comply and I have no notebook to try it. The best we can do to keep thing safe is let it original and conservative if we are uncertain about what to modify, anything that modified is not mean for last! Like a modified car, it is mean for fast.

Can be done if still can be used.

Can be done but depend on chip inside, if using Maxim chip, maximum is only 4656mAH can be detected, recommended you use the cell up to your original level with RM180.

Can be try, never done before, not sure. But HP battery mostly can be done.

This is 9 cell battery, can be done if still can be used, RM230.

Voltage per cell is depending on application, basically most Li-ion operate in the Voltage range 4.2V down to 3V. For light load application, the manufacturer will label it as 3.7V per cell, for heavier load application, manufacturer will label it as 3.6V per cell, because the chemical response is not fast enough and generated heat, according to the law of conservation of energy, power lose as heat will result in less potential generated.

That mean it have 4 cells inside.

2200mAH is RM25 per pieces
2400mAH is RM30 per pieces
2600mAH is RM40 per pieces

All brand new manufactured last year third to fourth quarter.

I doubt if you know how to use PM, please PM me for details, don't write too many things in this otherwise people may feel annoyed.

Blue cylinder is 2400mAH, welding two in series will result in 4800mAH. According to manufacturer specification, 4800mAH able to be charge at maximum current of 4.8A and discharge at 9.6A current. You can also use 2 pieces if you want to reduce cost, but it will only have 2400mAH, result in around 45% performance compare to your original.

And you need spot welder to weld it, using normal soldering iron to weld the cell can result in liquid leakage and can shorter the cell life. I can help you to weld a tab (4mm width nickel plate) on it so that you can solder on the tab.

90% change is battery problem, 10% change is notebook problem. Need to check the battery first then only can conclude. What is the battery model?
