State it carefully please, otherwise people may think that you send it to me!

This battery have 0% of change to be repaired by simply change the cells. I have my way to make it work after change cells, but it must be still remain usable.

I have trying to unlock those recent Sony battery board with very little success.

I never want to take this model because the change it can be repaired is almost 0%. Don't want to waste time. Whoever want to replace they battery cell please consult me first, to know the rate of success.

Are you sure it is Li-ion? Li-ion no problem! This unit is 100% doable, please refer to price list in first page for 8 cells. But Li-ion won't be 14V! It is either 14.4V or 14.8V.

I am using original Samsung cell, quality assured, battery have protection board inside which prevent the cells from overcharged or critical operation. Inside cells also have enough safety function. In fact, I use Samsung cause so far I never heard Samsung cells meletop. If you have doubt on this, I strongly suggest that you go for original battery smile.gif .

I think can not, the battery housing is design to fit in 3 cells only. RM100 to realt, thank.

I suggest you get the 6 cells upgrade version from HP.


P/S: Go back home town, service stop one week, will resume soon, thanks for support. Now NF373 and CF623 for dell is 100% repairable! Error bit flag, LED indicator 1-3-5 can be cleared now! Just sent it to me!

R52 have quite a few of firmware version, I have to check the battery firmware version before I can confirm it can be done or not. No need to open the housing, just communicate with battery. So may can be done but have risk, some will be 100% doable if still usable. RM180 to do.

Thanks for your opinion, I never notice this, will try to see if different manufacturer have different FRU number next time. But even the same manufacturer sometime also have a few version across years of manufacturer. Years by years, even the same model, there will have some minor upgrade, for example faster and more accurate ADC use to monitoring the cells.

By connecting the battery to my battery reader, I will know what version is it.

h1dz1r have send 2 pieces of t42(which look similar) battery to me before if I am not mistaken. I think you can try to PM him to see what is his battery FRU number. His battery is 100% doable model.

Can be fixed, inside also using Samsung 4800mAH, same as my cell. RM180 for the 47Whr version RM230 for the 72WHr version.
