1. No, can just close to original, at most 2 and half hours for your case. You must looking for a extended battery pack or external one. Now a day, most people use the battery system as UPS(interruptible power supply) only, to prevent lose of working document.
2. You gonna lose your battery warranty, and if it stated in your warranty document, you lose the warranty of the notebook as well since you using third party accessory.
3. RM179 for a 6 cells battery pack. 9 and 12 just don't fit into your pack. If battery hour really mean a lot to you, I suggest you get an external one from foreign country, just google it "external notebook battery" around RM400-600 I think.

Beside, if you are not playing game, try to use the software come with your notebook for power optimizing setting, set the performance to lower, you will get a lot out of it if you simply surf internet and listen to mp3.

I suggest you read post #227. 9 cell and 12 cell is extended version, I don't make any of it. Perhaps many foreign country sell the extended version, just order online if you can trust them.

If time is concern, you can get within 3-7 days. Depending on delivery condition. S2020 have 5-10% case show can not be charged after refill. Not recommended.

100% refillable if it still can work now. Some of this model have a component rusted near the main chip and thus can not be refilled.

Currently the charger size is still too big, later will remove the status display and replace with LED % charge indicator to cut cost and reduce the size. Interest in develop and marketing this can contact me. But I don't see any market for this. Even other manufacturer sale~200-300USD each for lab purpose only. What for a personal buy a smart charger for laptop battery? Unless I able to cut it cost t let say RM10 may be people will purchase for hobby. But I will say this is impossible, even a single micro controller for charger and monitoring already cost me RM25.

I have designed a single cells li-ion charger which the cost is around RM10, no temperature sense, no protection. Low current charging, constant current 500mA and constant voltage at around 4.2V, suitable to charge a single cell.

If you have amount I can go collect no problem, currently I don't have stock. Although I am doing alternative battery, but I don't do cheap alternative. Quality first, money second.

Plus, I don't want to take non-original to refill, it is not good. Many sub manufacturing battery using bad designed circuit board which tend to give customer problem very soon after refill.

Just check your battery if there are any liquid leak and make the label wet or result in some white color salt crystal present, the liquid inside the cells leak can result in rusted component and thus can not be refilled.

Some people call me and the number is in my phone, but yesterday I have forgotten and take out the battery of my mobile, so now I lose those contact already,I should record it down next time , strongly recommended mailing to me, so I can keep track of it.

It is 8 cells already, it is going to lose money if I give RM100 to you for 8 cells, unless you want to make it half the capacity, but I don't recommended this, if you want it cheap, why don't you get a second hand one from ebay or some where else? What for waste money for a poor performing refill battery? Waste our time, waste our money. It that so easy to replace the cells inside the battery pack you think of it be? All is done by hand, a non-pro level people may take a few days to figure out how to replace the cells inside. Direct solder to cell can result in liquid leakage and dramatically performance drop if you can't solder it within 3 secs 300-350 degree celcius. We connect the cells using spot welding machine which give reliable result and confident, where the heat applied only for a short period of 20milisec or less, far from enuf to melt the isolator between battery positive and negative terminal.

I don't believe it is your battery problem, not that I know battery will cause any such message. Can your laptop detect the battery? All nc6000 battery can be repaired, but most of the time the problem is on motherboard, not battery.

What massage is it? Try to copy down and post here so can share with other people. I believe it is some file regarding with battery management, subfile to a program or something like that.

I see there are many suggested solution available on internet, one of them is:

under the command prompt of window XP setup up disc, type in:
1.cd \Windows\system32\config
2.ren system system.bad
3.copy \Windows\repair\system

My suggestion is try to fully charge the battery and then install windows XP with battery power. Hope this info help. I just never meet this before but it should not be a battery problem.

Replacement battery, price vary from RM200 to 300++, I suggest you buy original. Usually quality of replacement battery is unpredictable, too many factory product replacement battery, some is good, some is poor, difficult to get good stuffs, if do business with China, sometime they sell poor quality also expansive, the rule "what you pay, what you get" don't apply very well in Made in China battery, so I don't want to sell it.

If quality doesn't matter, sometime ebay have people sell around RM100++ for replacement battery, can give you a few months remarkable power and service life.


RM180, this battery may not be repaired after it fail, if you want to repack, repack before it fail, for example when it still last for 15 minutes.

Some battery trigger a permanent failure flag after it fail (mean simply change the cells won't restore it functionality), especially Dell battery, some can be unlocked but some can not, depending on what circuitry they use.

Some battery can lock during changing cells, I able to unlock up to 80% of existing battery that lock itself.

The theory is somehow similar to some printer ink catrige will be override as failure even there are still ink inside after a specified time use. Preventing people for refilling the catrige. Printer manufacturer primary income is catrige itself.

But battery is not the primary income for notebook manufacturer, I also don't know why they want to do this, perhaps for safety reason.

RM180, 1 hour is still remarkable, I think even it is new only around 2 hours. Due to market competition, many notebook manufacturer using less cells than it is recommended, it finished very fast.

P/S: The readings will automatically corrected after you use the battery a few time. I believe there are some mismatch between the power management and fuel gauge (since battery and notebook is usually developed by different manufacturer as I know, notebook manufacturer order own designed part from different manufacturer and assembly it, this will lowering the cost).
