I had the same issue when I installed yesterday. After pushing and holding it, I manage to get the whole side to stick on. Now everything is perfect. Took me almost half an hour just push and hold the side to make it stick.

Push and hold? U won't get your hand pain meh?

I now see also headache... If really defect then. Need to remove and proceed warranty claim bla bla... Might as well stick with the old style tempered glass shakehead.gif

Mine starting also like that... Then slowly squeeze become mine ... Lesser but still suffer? Did you get yours replace bro?  hmm.gif

I see this kind of bubble almost impossible to remove because it is the edge d, where else can the bubble push to  hmm.gif

Maybe is really the glue problem...

Finger will feel the pain la. But then it's at least finally sticking like it should. At least no need to remove, send it back, wait for replacement, install again and hoping the same thing won't happen lo.

bro, mind to share how you get your replacement?

i myself not to say very pro in applying in SP, but this is the very first time fail in applying in DIY SP

even i help my friend and family install those normal Remax/Benks/Spigen all fit perfectly... but this one i really have a headache in big times... 2 hours spent and it is the same... maybe that part don't have enough glues  rclxub.gif

becoz those are not curve ma. flat screen protector bubble easily push out. Curve one the bubble is trap at the side. have to give it space in order to push the air out. haha.

Hey bro, thanks for your feedback... Enlighten me... Usually when I lift that part that I show in the picture, the right corner will follow by lifted up... I have some feeling that the particular part cannot adhen properly by itself...

Correct me if I'm wrong, the color part at left/right doesn't have any glue right?
*
no adhesive on the side.. if got then will have serious trouble in getting the air out.

We noticed most of those experienced installer have issue with the 3D installation. You cannot apply based on your current knowledge on applying the normal sp due to the curved edges of the corning glass.

Why use bare hand? In all the videos we have been showing the use of a pen to push out the bubbles.. We wont say it's defect cos we are installing the same batch here too.. and all of them are perfectly installed. We do not encourage replacement as it will cost you RM10 to send it back here and another RM10 for us to send it back to you, not to mentioned of the inconvenience caused along the way. And dont forget we have to send back to Taiwan for the replacement too. We have been absorbing all the cost but if our currency do not improves, we might not be able to continue to offer direct replacement but to wait for Taiwan to replace it.

i just ordered a jabra Play bluetooth... should reach tmr.. will provide feedback tomorrow.
yes.. 1 bar gone unless you are in very strong coverage area, then no effect.
just use your nail, lift a bit on the side (not corner), and use a pen to slowly push it out. Do not let go your hand before you push out the air. Then it should be good..
(i find the installation of 3D Corning is pretty easy once you get the grip on how to install it. My first piece took more than 3 days to fully remove the bubbles. Now it took less than 10 mins to perfectly install one)

Currently eyeing at plantronics m90 or itech 615. Seem not bad with music streaming support. Will want to see real products as wan to choose one which got an on/off button to allow fast turn on and also fast pairing function.

Hi bro, thanks a lot for your precious input.. I will try to use clip hold it overnight and see how it goes... But as for one , is really an eye sore for me when I looking at my phone due to the imperfect application of this premium SP.

And yes, replacement is really trouble and I don't like that too.

Yes, I did use pen to push it out... But the huddle at edge is really a different story...

After seeing all the defects here, not sure premium is the correct word to use?

UPDATE:

I used a bulldog clip to stress on the bubble area overnight (of course put a small pcs of tissue in between so that it wont scratch your phone). Today morning remove clip and the bubble gone already... so it is consider a perfect application for me.

So guys, please try to use this bulldog clip technique when there is bubble at the edge of your screen. It really helps... but still, this SP is not that easy to apply anyway.

the reason why they wanted the defected unit back is because they can reuse the glass after fixing the adhesive. (provided not scratch at all. Oleophobic can be recoated back)

I've installed 5 units of IMOS and to be frank, all of them works perfectly. Just that the adhesive is the only pain in the ass when trying to get rid of the bubbles... I've got one white version that gave me the most challenging task getting rid of the bubbles. But I managed to get rid of it at the end. If that applies to most of you, it's already considered a defects. But if you put some more efforts to push it out/off with the pen, it should get off not easily but it will eventually gone for good. Don't give up. Yes. it's very premium to me. The oleophobic coating is superior compared to all glass sp in the market to-date. And the protection is ultimatum.

Btw, it won't work with UAG cases (FAILED). Cheers!

Yes it is difficult to get rid of the bubbles but the imos sp is very good and worth for the cost at least from my point of view of course.
