QUOTE(BenSow @ Nov 22 2014, 07:27 PM) Anyone here owns a chromecast / ezcast? I see Lollipop has a cast screen function but am unsure if it'll work with ezcast, if it does might as well buy that since half the price :3 I not sure about lollipop. In kitkat also got screen cast option. But it wont detect chrome cast for screen mirroring. Chrome cast screen mirroring still in beta and only support a handful of devices. One plus is not one of it. But there is a root app u cn install. Just enable it then can work perfect. Edit; here's the thread for the app. Confirm working for this phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/hardware-h...device-t2812193 This post has been edited by mtxx: Nov 22 2014, 09:54 PM |

I just help my friend flash Nexus 10 lollipop factory image.
I don't know what went wrong or it's meant to be that way. But the Nexus 10 felt really slow and laggy. It never impressed me during kitkat. Even a phone like note 3 Neo is faster and consistently smoother. I thought lollipop will improve performance. But it's felt same only. Even scroll home screen isn't really smooth. 0 apps installed btw. Fresh full wipe from factory image. Not sure what to expect for one plus. Where do you guys get first hand news for oneplus? Last time I check from sammobile for Samsung phone. Oneplus got official news channel? |

QUOTE(xxdesire @ Nov 23 2014, 12:55 AM) I'm use to the back button at left. I want to change the capacitive button layout. But I'm too lazy to do mod that time when I was using it :V If you wana change hardware buttons functions, just use xposed module called 'xposed additions'. Free and very easy. Can set press and long press. If u buy full version, u can also set double press. |

Mine is stock rom stock kernel.
I go sleep about 6.5 hours. Drop 1% battery only. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I got use greenify fb and amplify default wake lock. Previous phone best result is drop 3% in the same setting and time frame. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Overall very very pleased with one plus. The battery life for standby and actually usage is very good indeed. This post has been edited by mtxx: Nov 23 2014, 07:04 AM |

QUOTE(lowyard @ Nov 23 2014, 12:55 PM) Hey, thanks! It works great. I managed to map the menu key as back button and the back key as recent apps button. So it'd function like the default android on screen navigation bar. Do what Samsung does. Set long press recent as menu button. Simple solution. But! I noticed gestures not working anymore. Can't double tap to wake, circle for camera and v for flashlight. Also, when navigation bar is disabled, there's no more options/menu button in apps. I believe this is because android thought I still have the options/menu button when in fact it's been mapped to other function. Anyone knows how to solve this problem? |

I'm still searching for a nice cm theme.
Why some cm themes have super big tiles for recent app list? It looks ugly and disproportionate. Is there a way to make the size smaller? Usually cn see 4 apps on recent apps list. But if the theme use big tiles. Can see 3 only. |

QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Nov 23 2014, 07:53 PM) Go buy nilkin tempered glass screen protector. It's clear like invisible. And got oleophobic layer very anti fingerprint. Even if got dirt very easy to remove. Just wipe with finger also enough. RM 30+ can get already. Don't buy matte one you'll regret. Greatly reduce clarity. Screen become grainy like 480p screen. |

QUOTE(briantwj @ Nov 24 2014, 04:58 PM) Saw this You don't need to be tech savvy to own this. Note: Modem bin or Radio bin is always dependable to the telco you are using and your location. Always flash a compatible modem, or you will soft brick your phone. You may flash to another modem bin if your phone is having unstable connection. Results may vary across users. in first page. Can I just use TWRP to blash the bin file? Coz being an owner of Nexus 7C, I usually use TWRP for all these flashing mods with my Nexus. sorry for noob question, coz most of the mod that I flash for my Nexus is in .zip file type. Can I use twrp to flash the .bin file? Considering to upgrade to OPO, but scared not techie enuff to own 1. Just use every thing stock. Confirm no problem. I never play with modem in any phones I use. Just use the default one. Never had any issue before. Superb battery life and standby time even without any modding. |

QUOTE(kahtsin @ Nov 24 2014, 08:41 PM) Guys what's the thing called when you scroll up from bottom of screen then there's some shortcuts/search thingy pop ups? How to disable it? i find it strange you dont like them. these quick launch are one of the reason i like on screen nav bar.set it to screen off (no need press power button anymore), google now and toggle notification tray (no need reach all the way to the top to pull down). so convenient. but then every one have their own preference. you can remove them if you dont like it. settings>buttons>quick launch shortcut set all to none. and it will be gone This post has been edited by mtxx: Nov 24 2014, 10:27 PM |

Guys can you go check in
Settings, security, notification access The themes app always have notification access. Even if I disable it, it will be enabled again. Why does the theme app need read access to our notification? With notification listener on, it will always be running in the background |

QUOTE(akira87 @ Nov 25 2014, 09:04 AM) No. Every app has permission to show notification . This notification access means that app can read all your OTHER notification created by all other apps. I can disable it. But if I switch to another theme. It will be enabled again. |

QUOTE(ChaosSixth @ Nov 26 2014, 07:49 AM) guys I duno. But I'd say take a leap of faith and try online purchasing. Are there any seller that sell OPO in a reasonable price at penang/kedah? preferably to meet up and buy rather than postage thanks in advance Buy from reputable site like Lelong, DirectD or Satu gadget. Even I'm in KL, I also buy using delivery. Parking in DirectD subang area is a nightmare. |
