QUOTE(noien @ Dec 11 2014, 06:26 PM) my choice is because of the 1080p screen instead of 2k screen. battery is the main issue for me. If you go and read MX4 Pro reviews, actually the battery life is similar to non Pro. The 2K panel they use only consume slightly higher energy. That difference is already been offset by the slightly larger battery too.outlook of mx4 and mx4pro is almost the same except for the button.haha BTW do you guys come across inconsistent sound volume issue? Seems like the volume setting is buggy. Sometime the volume is much lower (that's why I missed out phone calls etc) but after restart it's back to very loud volume. |

QUOTE(Ah hao @ Dec 13 2014, 09:16 PM) any of u guys facing "screen jumping" issue? in case anyone of you dont know what it is, screen jumping is advance version of phone hang What Is screen jumping?in these 2 weeks i face screen jumping at least twice already... have to long press power button to off the phone and on it again. BTW confirmed the audio volume got bug. Those who said their volume isn't extremely loud...please reboot your phone. It will be loud again until some time it's soft again. The difference is very big. Like twice the output, |

BTW, those who had updated to Flyme 4.0.4L, do you experience intermittent stutter in Settings?

QUOTE(Frangipani @ Jan 24 2015, 07:35 PM) Just got this phone today..pretty impressive! I never try that stock browser. I'm used to Google Chrome. Perhaps you can try that? But the browser always have "couldn't establish a secure connection" warning every time I open a website and I cant access Lowyat forum both in Wifi and mobile data. Any idea why? Is there any settings that I need to change? I'm using Celcom Prepaid with prepaid data plan. |

Actually the phone was nice. For that screen size it's considered light etc. I especially like the screen wider ratio. The audio was great.
The main reason I sold it is just because I prefer a smaller screen i.e. one-hand usage. If they have a 4.7" model I would buy it in a heart beat. Other than the screen which they excelled, this phone does everything just fine but none is the best (but at that price we can't complain). The heavy gesture oriented usage is not very intuitive (e.g. swipe up from home = back button) although it's not that hard to get used to either. Using the phone for two months I can feel that the philosophy of Meizu is aesthetic first, practicality second. |

QUOTE(RieZky @ Jan 27 2015, 04:01 PM) sorry noob here..did someone notice.when using whatsapp..try to takepicture ..how to get back if u suddenly dont want take picture..unless have to close the app..bcoz no back button😢 Touch Home button and swipe up until screen area = emulate "Back" button. This applies for all apps not only Whatsapp. And BTW your question just reinforced what I said in the previous post. It's not every intuitive. |

QUOTE(jloi @ Jan 28 2015, 10:55 AM) Yup. Strangely Samsung never revealed the sensor for Alpha but it's been reported by numerous sites that it's a similar sensor as S5 but downscaled to 12MP through software. Exmor RS is still better though. It's a downgrade for me in that sense. :s This post has been edited by davidletterboyz: Jan 28 2015, 11:58 AM |

QUOTE(cracksys @ Oct 1 2015, 02:46 PM) i read raving review about its battery life. I used to own a MX4. The battery life is overall "good" as it easily lasted me over a day. But for that kind of battery size, it is considered low efficiency. It should last 2 days.but i was deeply disappointed when it lasted twice as short as compared to my old Honor 6. |

QUOTE(Ah hao @ Oct 2 2015, 04:12 PM) Wow. Still looks so new. Almost a year had gone past! Unfortunately I had sold mine long ago. The phone is too big. Hardware wise, it's still a very good phone at that price range. This post has been edited by davidletterboyz: Oct 3 2015, 06:53 PM |
