Blue Kor Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Meizu smartphones in Malaysia, will be officially launching the MX4 smartphone in Malaysia at a retail price of RM1099. The smartphone, made from “aircraft-grade” aluminium, will be available online via Lazada and gogomobile.com.my.

To be available in three colour options (Grey, White and Gold), Blue Kor will only be bringing in the 16GB variant to Malaysia. We’ve also been told that stocks will arrive in batches, and for that reason stocks may be limited. The first wave of stocks will arrive on 28 November, and will be available online via the two retailers. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Review of the MX4 by PhoneArena

MX4 is a like an Iphone 6 with big ambitions.

MX4 PRO coming to Malaysia in the first quarter of 2015

The MX4 Pro has 3GB of RAM and is powered by the Samsung Exynos 5430, an octa-core processor which has four 2.0GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.5GHz Cortex-A7 cores. The display is a 5.5-inch 1536 x 2560 IPS display that has a 5:3 aspect ratio, much like the aspect ratio of the MX4′s display.

It will come in choices of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. Other specifications include a 20.7MP rear camera with double LED flash, 5MP front camera, 3350mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat with Meizu’s Flyme OS ROM, and a fingerprint sensor that doubles as the home button.

Antutu ranked the Meizu MX4 as the BEST PERFORMING phone for Q3 2014

It seems to me that thread is not maintained properly. A proper thread is needed for this phone. smile.gif

I'm still waiting for the official launch in Malaysia. Initially it was Oct, then end of Nov...now if you read their FB post, today it said probably early Dec. doh.gif

If you think the default aint appropriate, you should just pm the mod to merge it, instead of creating multiple topics. If everyone also think like that, there will be multiple similar topic to make it messy enough to view

Besides what you are posting are just specs and review from those review sites only. There no much discussion going on bout the phone because there only a handful owner of the phone

Well at least I some effort to make a proper thread for this model rather than complaining once others had done so. whistling.gif

Btw, tell me which thread on phones doesn't have specs and reviews from other sites? hmm.gif Unless you want me to make out my own specs for this phone. doh.gif

Ah...just noticed they are bringing 16GB model only! Without microSD card slot... 16GB is definitely not enough for most people.... Especially this is a mid high end phone. What are they thinking?

Guys, Lazada starts taking pre-order for MX4 16GB already.

QUOTE(2am_solo @ Nov 20 2014, 07:02 AM)
Because mostly mediatek processor lack of compatibility with latest android, most dev having issue with this and turn to be snapdargon

Example, redmi Note 3g power by mediaTek, they just so hard to get it 4.4 android, meanwhile they produce a new variant redmi note 4g, which power by snapdragon already upgrade to 4.4
*
Hmmm...this is new to me! I thought ARM instructions are compatible across all ARM, especially same version number. Probably mediatek is missing out several crucial instructions?

You have a point there. Hopefully with the latest flagship model and their reputation on the line, Mediatek and Meizu will be quick in coming out with new updates especially with the new Android 5.0 Lollipop rolling out now for android devices.

They will surely bring the 16GB to "test market" first and being the cheapest model of the three, to command some market share first. Pure marketing strategy.
