as I used both before.
here's the list

EPI Leather - A500/700/900
Leather - A1000/2000/A900ti/A950 LTD
Pure Leather pad - W series

btw, when you buy A5/7/900 can ask them change to A1000 pad too, but you top up the money lah.
RM140 for an ear pads is ok.
the W5000 earpad cost m250 in bluetin.com

ahhaha.... it is comfort and sound bright because the pad torn, and I made it become cotton pad already.
so, how long you wear , at normal room temperature you wont get hot.
the bess will be much more better if you use epi leather or leather pad. biggrin.gif

Price drop from 12,800 yen to 9,980 yen. After deduct some points I ended up paying just 5,980 yen (~RM 226) for it.

Still kinda excited with it, burning in + listening to it now. Compared to by Mylarone Bijou 4 this ANC3 sounded better in certain parts less than few hours into burning in.
Good thing the earphone can work without the battery (to enable NC) so can just use it like another usual earphone.  thumbup.gif

btw, that time reizz try dt770 probably the amp is not enough to drive that well.
should use a better amp, probably desktop amp....geeeeeeee biggrin.gif
The Dt770 bass is much more deeper and deeper and detailed than M50 a lot.
while M50 bass is not deep enough...just mid-high bass, and its very strong.
Made the bass cover all the detail already, lose its sound stage, high and mid.

A900 and M50 bass are different.
A900 bass "throw" shorter than M50.
the M50 bass is slightly higher than A900, bass produced longer than A900 around 0.5 sec more... quite a lot.

Remember A series is Art Monitor series. Not only mean for general but can use as a studio monitoring headphone. smile.gif

Different ?
you like muddy flat bass and super strong which cover all teh detail then go for M50 lol
you like deeper bass but not muddy and good soundstage can take A900.

because normal ath headphone for budget beggar. like me.
A900 still can ampless to drive. while with the quite similar price tag DT770 need amp to drive.

if a good amp like audio gd compass cost rm50 sure ath headphone not gonna have good sales.
