because the more impedance they put , the sound better.
but when impedance getting higher, means the amp need stronger.

My first headphone is the dt231.
before I was selling for rm120 which used half year only but no one gives me a shit doh.gif

indeed, DT231 can't cover all your ear. Just exactly cover ur pinna.

is ipod a dedicated amp ?

A/AD series no need too powerful amp as they are built to be ampless.
even if you plugged to an amp, the sound does not change significantly, not that worth.
