QUOTE(711726 @ Dec 3 2014, 03:32 PM) Just test drive Almera last weekend. Was impressed with the space and price. Asked the salesperson about warranty, he said won't void even if I bring my own engine oil. Is this true? Serious? There is a saying goes like this, "If every single word of SA can be trusted, female pig climbs up the tree". Lol... This post has been edited by nismo87: Dec 3 2014, 04:58 PM

http://paultan.org/2006/07/25/research-octane-number/This one clear most of our doubts on RON. Actually our car needs at least RON 91. So RON 95 is more than enough. Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(arrowhead7372 @ Dec 4 2014, 10:56 AM) Maybe test drive the sylphy first and see. If the car doesnt feel solid, then avoid it. Get teana la. Surely more solid than sylphy. Teana is very confortable, u dont feel anything even u run into pot holes.

QUOTE(beyond86 @ Dec 5 2014, 04:24 PM) Fortunately, the company had a large and loyal base of customers with the cars’ proven reputation for being economical to operate, reliable, long-lasting and also good resale value. Unlike some other brands, Nissan was a brand which a father encouraged his children to buy and they in turn would also do likewise with their children in later years because the ownership experience had been very satisfying. Sound like my case. My father drove a Nissan before and recomended me to buy Almera.

QUOTE(azharsbn @ Dec 6 2014, 11:08 AM) 7k should be good. I got my E last 2 week for 9k discount + bodykit + sport rim. No other free gift. I opted for lux pkg with additional 3.5k for tinted, leather seat and 5 other items (check the Nissan's web site). You probably should trade in the body kit for the tinted and leather seat as the body kit may only cost around 1k outside (if I am reading the Mudah correctly), like one of our forum members did, if I am not mistaken. Another note from me is if you want to get any optional accrssories, better get it before you get the car. Should you decide to add on any optional accessories they offer after u get the car. You'll have to pay more. I have to fork out RM450 just for kicking plate. Which is Rm 170 more expensive than the promotional price.

The SA told me that they can not give such discount for E spec. If you happen to get one, that means the SA has to fork out some cash for you..
