Have u heard of locktech? I am using this kind of pedal lock. The brand is called defender. It is good because it is installed in your vehicle. Hassel free.

Just received delivery of my Almera VL today. Quite nice i must say, but somehow the steering is lighter than the test unit the other day. The CC5 tires also looks a bit slimmer than i can recall previously

QUOTE(GTA5 @ Nov 24 2014, 11:21 PM) Hi, 195/60 may give a little bit of stability, but the increment is too small when considering the extra resistance, less comfy & increased fuel consumption it causes (also slightly). Depends... but I think better stick to 185/65. You will appreciate the extra comfort & fuel savings.Currently driving Almera E spec. Plan to change tyres soon, currently using stock tyres Conti comfort contact cc5. 1) Should I change back to stock tyres? How much would it be per tyre? I am satisfied with the stock tyres but feel that can be more stable if get a bigger width tyres (195/60?) 2) If not, any recommendations of any other tyres? My main concern will be the cost as will be changing all 4 tyres at once. Hopefully around rm200 max per tyre. Wider and more stable tyres will be a plus point. Thanks! QUOTE(arrowhead7372 @ Nov 25 2014, 07:30 AM) I do. Behind my mind, always thinking "what if.... I chose city/vios"... The Vios doesn't provide the sheer amount of rear legroom.. and the City gives lower driving position. So, I always kept these in mind whenever my mind started to cringe 'why didnt bought Vios/City instead'.But some times, the sheer quietness of our cabin makes me happy.. Hahahaha. My cc5 front tire getting botak, so fast. Only 36,000kms.. And its time to rotate already. Continental so lousy? Anyway, CC5 with mileage 35,000-40,000 is OK normal. My neighbors Toyo tyres only clock 20k km before botak. Make sure its properly inflated. QUOTE(dagnarus @ Nov 25 2014, 08:57 AM) Its a common problem, especially when bodykits are attached. Mine, I've sent to SC and they have rectified it.This post has been edited by normal_user: Nov 25 2014, 02:54 PM |

QUOTE(nismo87 @ Nov 25 2014, 08:07 AM) Me too, sometimes i wonder whehter vios/city performs better than almera. The car is not as quite as the first day. It is just 3 weeks old. Running into pot holes create knocking sound Knocking sound aside, Almera is quieter than Vios and City, and a whole lot more comfy. Get the knocking sound checked, ask to tighten the undercarriage, whatever that means. That is what the SC (Nissan PJ) told me when I complained about that and so far it never came back. |

QUOTE(douglas_tong @ Nov 25 2014, 12:11 PM) Just change my 2nd bearing (interval-ly to avoid tedious process of awaiting approval), came back with another unidentified sound. What is the symptom of faulty bearing? And what is the new unidentified sound?Plus I need to wait approximately 2 weeks for HQ to approve of fixing the problem of black oil leakage. T.T Super sad wei, barely a month and already need to standby for my 5th visit to sc. |
