guys... is there any tortoise tat do looked alil like sulcata's carapace but it's light beige wif alil' black patches on it? same goes to the plastron... head and body are mostly light beige... it's from myanmar as claimed... i saw it in my dad client's home in Sierramas... very nice! wat kind is tat ha? are those burmese or watever tat u guys had mentioned about?? any pics to enlighten me? hatchling preferrably as i saw tat are hatchlings... cantik...

now i'm in doubt whether do i want a tortoise or a turtle... hehe... gotto haf 1 only as myself oso not enuff eat! hahaaa!!

and if it's de elongated... as i see it's nice... but it's not so nice on de pics i found on de net about elongated... de one i see are more light beige even it's carapace too but most pics on elongated i've seen are mostly brown wif patches and yes, de patches are very much like elongated....

btw, wat's de market price are like? expensive?? as i see my dad client's house are for sure EXPENSIVE! hahaaa!! donno whether the pet is or not tho tat's not de solely pet around... hehe...

okie... thanks for de info uzairi... so it's elongated lar ya... as i see de tort like to soak him/herself in de tank... and i read some info on elongated which says tat their habitat are alil' humid too... O... tat price range is still OK for a nice pet... i tot it wud cost more than a sulcata... hehe...

meiteoh... how de scutes are showing signs of softshells? u pressed on it or are they peeling off? RES shud be very easy to take care of... infact, they don need much care oso! hahaaa!! to me lar tat is... u put tortue in office izzit? when office is off of a/c... de air in there is bad! de carpets especially...

and yes... i don sun them either... they grew well without any problem... hmm... i oso just feed my RES turtle pellets and some veges... mostly cabbage...

neway, would wanna ask haf anyone here had a problem wif their turtles growing algae/fungus on their carapace? mine did! hmm... and i never had this problem b4 but now... why and what's de cause?

uzairi... ya, no filter installed... as de water level are alwiz low... so, i don intend to install one lor... it might be because of the water too... neway, can i just brush it off wif a toothbrush? it will not hurt them, rite?

meiteoh... why don try NOT to feed tortue instead... i mean starve tortue for 2 days... then baru u throw in some pellets... see whether he will eat it not... if u feed him daily... he might be choosy to food coz' he knows tat he got a good owner that feeds him well! hahaaa!

i feed them nutrafin basix... hehe... guess tat's de most common one kuar...

today i'm free to run around... been to irene, yee fatt and pet's family...

in Irene... de shop ppl there is kinda lc... so din ask or talk much there... just go there see see look look... saw 3 black breasted leafs... they don move much eh... if so, i see those in carrefour kepong looks healthier tho it's just a simple set-up... and i saw 3 hatchling common snapper happily swimming around in a big tank... (not ally snapper tho... hmm... )



saw lots of softshells (waterfish) too and going for RM2.80! so cheap! hehe... de common snapper is going for RM180 as on price tag... got a few stars selling for RM98 and 1 leopard (i guess or izzit radiated? not good in tortoises) going for RM450... RES is RM8... and 2 hatchling painted turtles going for RM160/each... very nice color tone... much or more like RES just coloring and sizing diff as i see it... but for de price of RM160... xpensif ler... tho looked diff than normal... meiteoh, buy this... hehe... nothing more to see and don wanna ask oso... kinda not frenly attitude as i see those fellas...

then head on to yee fatt... and tada! shop closed on monday! apalar... see nothing... cheh!



go further to Pet's Family as i see the time still OK b4 de traffic jam comes... i see nothing new nor any hatchling yet i still luv de two ally snapper inside de big tank... looks so coOL! i really want a hatchling ally snapper... anyone care to offer me? hehe... uzairi, eujax, titan... got 'road' ka? hehe...

zoejehuty... RES do bask... not to say bask under de sun but to dry themself out... mine alwiz does dry themselves on top of de rock away from de water and they even like to stretch their legs and not letting it to touch the water like superman style... coOL eh? hehe...

uzairi... thanks for de advice... brushing my stinkpot wif toothbrush DO works! work wonders and all de algae/fungus DID came off... hehe... still got a lil' leftover... will brush him/her again... (btw, can we know their sex yet at this age? +/- a 20sen size...) i got a pic too... nice and clean! hehe...



de time i'm brushing my stinkpot... and oso i took my razorbacks for a brush too as i can see algae is oso building up... (duH! i must go and buy a filter + pump d... not just tat... gotto rearrange my places too... hmm...) and my razors took a bite on my finger! oucH! kinda pain too for a bite from a turtle of de size of a 20sen... i wonder how strong are snapper's bite...

anyone in here had been bitten by turtles/tortoises? uzairi, seems like in here only u haf a snapper around... haf u been bitten before at de time u handles them?

went to carrefour and passby petsmore... went in for while and this time i saw 2 radiated going for RM1.5K/each!! and 2 stars for RM168/each... and asian leafs for RM88/pc... 3 of 'em left... kamekame, not interested? as i see them as compared to Irene's... they are healthier...

i'm not sure which one it is... but it's sure a razorback or a loggerhead as both of this are quite identical... unless u can get a snap on it's plastron... then can see the difference d...

tho razorbacks haf a more 'hump' on their carapace and do looked very much like a 'razor'...

kena bitten by razors and not on de finger but at de skin's part... de most vulnerable to bites! hahaaa!! nvm lar... learn...

all de radiated i saw are > RM1K... i wonder, are they THAT nice? i see sulcata looked alot nicer than radiated... to those who donno... radiated = stars to them! hahaaa!!

kamekame... u want malayan box turtles ka? next round i go Penang, i get it for u want? they don cost high price... but definately special than a normal RES lor... hehe... actually, their carapace are nice too and it's an easy turtle to pet... they can be dry, lil' damp or even on wet... works well for malayan box...

de malayan box turtle that i have r being rescued from a bunch of punks tat DON't have the love for animals... huh!

razorback and stinkpot are in de musk family... they are small size kind of turtles... both are cute to me... just tat i like stinkpot more coz' they are more playful! hahaaa!!
