Please get a bigger Star.... you will regret getting those cheap ones.... 2 inch stars are highly sensitive and something wrong, say bacterial infection or a slight cold can cause death.... I have gone through that before, that is why I dare say out.

yes, very true
all my 5 baby star die one by one. the last one just died sad.gif

so sad...
i've done all i can and the necessary to keep them healthy.
they just don't want to eat

and all died with soft shell. problem is not eating the food

now left my sulcata (which touch wood, healthy)

OMG all 5? last time i remembered only 2. and i do remember you giving them all proper food and care. luckily ur sulcata is doing healthy.
are sulcatas below 3 inch also very susceptible to disease? or is it that stars are more prone compared to other chelonians?
dem, dunno how can i forgive myself if one of my turtles die. my other pets (fish & tarantula) im quite ok but turtles... sad.gif
*
sad... they used to be so much fun. eating, playing together... sigh

anyway, my sulcata is much easier to care. he just eat eat eat. his tank is next to star... so the temperature and humidity should be the same... food also the same (only sawi from day 1 and some calcium powder once in a while)

it is also very active. it digs a lot. it knocks on the tank to remind me food is needed
