Is the Airbrush compressor that noisy?

Didn't want my RG Zaku II mono-eye to be pink. So I used a red Sharpie and a metallic silver gundam marker on the clear part instead. I think it turned out pretty nicely. No masking required.

Well... use it but be thoughtful and wary for any complaints of noise or paint fumes.
Some neighbors can't tolerate if it is at night or if their family members have health problems like asthma.

going to ditch Gaianotes and start using Mr Hobby paint

-budget: cheap get the compressor mini usually only RM200 per set with airbrush tool(silent and portable), want better get compressor with tank cost RM400-500 without airbrush,(long lasting but expensive and kinda noisy)
-how to know these thing works(usually can learn later after you bought it) Youtube have tutorial how to do airbrush, how to do airbrush maintenance etc
-if you place is in apartment or flat, can get airbrush booth to spray indoor but make sure your room ventilation is good, get the spray masking is recommended(can buy at hardware shop)

depend, my neighbour have yet complain to me because I using compressor with tank
safe bet get the portable/mini compressor its dont give much noise like aquarium air pump

did same on MG Zgok but with Gundam Marker red, just dont shake the pen to give clear transparent red look
alternatively buy clear paint and some thinner from Hobby Shop because it have more color, clear red, blue, green and yellow
and hand painted with brush

Gaianotes is relatively new compared to Mr Hobby, Mr Hobby has been around for ages, of course their catalog is waaaaay bigger

nope airbrush compressor is not noisy...
buy the oil-less(free maintenance) type, that one is the silent type,

as for fumes, make sure ur place have much ventilation, if not, create one booth with fans to suck the fumes and dust to out side ur room.

I think, you don't need to stick to one brand of hobby paint because each of them have the colour you need
If you notice, I actually use different brand too since the Phenex was using mr hobby and gaia.
Other than that, I also have a little bit of valejo and games workshop (Citadel) colours too.
Need to decide which one is more convenient to use at the time

Sometimes... there are things one should not start panel lining. 1/144 Zaku II tubes are one of them.

As much as I liked the outcome, I felt like I was in gunpla hell for 40 minutes when I was doing it. And now I'm not looking forward to the waist and leg tubes.

i feel you bro.i hate the removing nub part most,thats why i rather buy some 3rd party metallic tube.
