For compressor oil,  usually it cycle through a machine,  along with compressor gas. And it tops up (both gas and oil) both as needed according to specifications.

eventually you'll need to replace compressor or worse, if the internal damage is too much it may contaminate the entire aircond system and you'll have to replace everything.

price for compressor is ~700-900.
for entire system is around 2-2.5k

Was just wondering if Iswara cannot start. Battery sound ok. Starter sound like "eh..eh..eh..eh..eh" also sounded strong (not like dying sound). but just keep on like that "eh..eh..eh..eh..eh.." but engine did not come to life.. What can be the issues?

I have a feeling the battery is not weak because when I take off one cable and try to put it back, it surely feel like magnet when it touch the battery terminal (quite strong) and also got a bit of spark before touching. Last time i have one dying battery which when almost dead, will not have this 'magnet' effect anymore.
So I don't really think the battery is the problem.

(Petrol is still a bit below half the last time i check, so it is not no petrol also)

I am surprised that oil leaks can affect the alternator. I had oil leaks too, from
the rocker cover seal, but it does not reach the alternator which is located away
from the engine. Or is oil leaking from the power steering pump? Even then,
these two leaks can be repaired (rocker seal is cheap and easily replaced). Any
traces of the oil seepage tracks?

i dont have much connections with half cut shops and as a matter of fact i am looking for them to obtain a particular socket for my inspira or even possibly a manual gearbox for my iswara lol

1) can consider change the distributor o ring.

2) AFAIK la, you pour water or oil on the damn distributor, it shouldn't affect.
bear in mind it is exposed and rain water easily splashes it.
still, it is best to fix any leaks as they are not good.

3) ori denso is 800-1k. consider getting that, and before installing it, ENSURE the entire system is cleaned out with chemicals so that no debris/dirt will contaminate/accelerate degradation of the new compressor. else you would be potentially wasting your money.

chances are once the compressor goes dead, most likely the entire air cond system gets contaminated with it's sludge/metal wear etc

Distributor u can consider change only when u have difficulties to start when stall.

Mine was leak till inside, so replace O ring also no use.

Me when driving, suddenly will stall. Then need to take long time- bout 5 minutes to get it start.

If u buy, dont take those taiwan or recon unit - wont last long but is cheap around RM1xx

U sure the sound coming from the timing belt? Usually seems more like from the alternator belt or fan belt etc..
