It's the same for me. The steering rattle but if I put my hand there, the rattle stop.
That means steering rattle is not mounting problem??

Guys, normally how much would it cost to change all 4 pcs of our engine mounting?
I asked around and they said better use original Mitsubishi parts for longer and reliable performance.
So how much is it include labor cost? I manage to find 1 site that sell all 4 for rm360 (parts only). Is it normal price @ overpriced?

Albert, any brake pads brands suggestion? i use before proton original from factory and bosch one ( currently using ).

i want those brake pads will no produce too much noise when come to nearly stop. i hate the noise and the jerking feeling when it nearly hit stop. Other than bosch and proton ori, any other suggestion brands suit my terms ?

Guys, can stopoil stop the engine oil from losing ? I travelled 400km yestreday . when i checked the dipstick today , 1/2 of the engine oil had been lost . I'm using 20w50 engine oil now .

Question: if i buy the parts myself (e.g., water pump), and bring it to mechanic, is it a better option?

Coz i worry that mechanic may feel that he earn not much, and later on labor charge kena me kau kau...

my car is making noise, so i finally found the problem

Context: when start car, no problem, but after drive for 10~20 minutes, can start to hear the sound coming from the part there (see photo)

that part will spin in normal condition, but it will start making noise when the spin is uneven (stuck a while, then continue spin, then stuck a while).....

During my first belt change, I did not change the pump
and it was still ok when it was replaced during the 2nd
belt change.

So far the new pump is ok. It is the Thai GMB brand.
I am monitoring it via the overflow tank level which should
show a sudden drop if the leak starts (unless the leak is
a big one).

Probably one of the causes of pump failure is the abrasive effect
of sludge, rust, precipitate from the coolant. Another could be
the excessive pressure of cooling system either by jammed
radiator caps or too high rating.

Regarding the spark plugs, I bought pre-gapped BP5ES-11 and
used straightaway. The -11 means 1.1 mm and it can be used
(I think Campro uses this gap) if the system can deliver the
higher voltage required, and there are no deterioration that
can leak the high voltage. Higher gap should theoretically
give more stable ignition because of the 50% more exposure
to the turbulent mixture. But in my case, leaks occured during
cold mornings causing misfire.

My BLM saga air cond is getting hot. I went to Proton Service Centre to have a check.

They said they need RM 1.7k to service the air con. Saying the gas is leaking.

RM 1.7k is quite a lot for me, is there any cheaper alternative?

I believe it is not the fan problem, either the gas leak or there are no more gas. Is there any good tutorial for air con gas checking or self refueling for gas?

Recently did some repairs and changed major parts.

1. Goodyear tires x 4
2. Lower arm 1 pair
3. Steering rack
4. Rear axle
5. APM absorber 1 set

Total cost almost RM2k

Now there's 2 issue that still exist:

1. Alignment has been done after changed all the parts and new tires, twice! Then my mechanic found out that the right side lower arm had some issues, so claimed warranty and replaced. Then this time I did the alignment at another place. Tyre shop guy said tyres are straight but there's free play. He told me to check with my mechanic about possible problem on steering rack mounting. And I feel that the alignment is seriously out. Car will pull to the right side and steering seems to align to left. But mechanic said the steering rack mounting is good, parts are well fitted tightly. So he adjusted the steering to make it centre. But problem is still there. Alignment is just not right.

2. There is a sound recently coming from behind. Just a short 'TAK' or 'KONG' sound from behind. And this sound only comes when the car is travelling at very low speed in a traffic jam or car park.
